Robina and her family were excellent hosts. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much to ask and they sorted everything for us very quickly. They provide drinking water for a minimal cost which is great and offer a laundry service again for a very low cost. They even had us round for supper one night! We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was very clean and comfortable. Is in the ground floor of the Homestay so you have access to Help from Robina and her family as well as the amazing rooftop Terrace. The apartment has two bedrooms, one with an ensuite, and another bathroom, and a kitchen living room. The property felt very secure. It is down a lane away from the road and there is a locked gate and each room has doors which can lock too. The properties in a great location. There are lots of shops a few restaurants and a bakery nearby. It is only a very short walk from Thamel, you can enjoy all the perks of staying in Thamel, without the noise and the chaos! I’d highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Kathmandu!

The property was about a 10-15min walk from Thamel so it felt a little far walking in the dark as a solo female traveler. Because I was there during the Dashain festival, food nearby was limited as a lot of the shops were closed.

Beautiful home with a beautiful family. Rabina and Rissi were so welcoming and gave me a local experience when I stayed with them during the Dashain festival. Thank you for your hospitality!

We chose this place because of the laundry service, but doing the laundry was a bit complicated. We could not wash the laundry on the morning due to her own need to the clothes lines, which is fine. Instead we should wash the evening before so laundry could dry overnight. When we finished washing, we were told that there is no space to dry the laundry outside. We should leave them wet in the bags or spread them at the stairs, which we did, but clothes were dirty next morning. So maybe go wash your laundry somewhere else.

Ramina is very nice and welcoming. She invited us in her home for tea and bisquits, when we arrived. The room and bathroom were very clean. She organised airport transfer for us during the night/early morning.

We came to Kathmandu by night bus and checking in early in the morning was not an issue at all. Very nice and helpful family. We got the room on the rooftop which is very beautiful. The bathroom seemed pretty new.

Location is a little far from the main tourist attractions. And it is located next to a dirt road that gets a little annoying to walk through if it rains.

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The room had a nice balcony. The property also has a very nice terrace on the top floor. The location is quiet and great for a good rest. The price is super good for the facilities in comparison to other properties I stayed at in Kathmandu.

The hosts are welcoming you in a very warming way. Rooms and the whole guest house is very clean and cozy. I loved the roof top, where you can sit and relax. It‘s also good located, just a couple of minutes from „Thamel“, where you can find varieties of restaurants, bars, etc. You also have a big supermarket next to the guest house (3 walking minutes). The hosts are also inviting you to come with them to traditional festivals, if there is one. So they also socialise with you, as long as you want to and treating you like family. I appreciated this a lot as a single traveler. Also they take care of your needs and wishes, so you can ask both of the hosts if you need any help for a hiking trip, going to Pokhara, etc. I highly recommend this guest house because I felt very safe and comfortable and had a very lovely time with the people who stayed here with me and the hosts. Thank you that I could enjoy my stay that much.

It's conveniently located 400m from Thamel, away from the noises, but super close to the places of interest. Room was spacious, shower was nice, very good wifi connection and furniture as well as other facilities were clean and new. Hosts were very nice and friendly
