How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very expensive for two nights due to the concert we went too being on. Especially for such a small room, but I guess at the end of the day we didn't have to pay for an uber into Central city.
Location is great for anything near Trusts Arena. It's a quick easy walk down the road. Free parking and heaps of it. Ladies at reception were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Small ish for the price.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, had marks all over the skirtings and back of the door etc. Dust under the vanity. Towels had stains on them.
Ease of getting around, lots of things within in short distance. Room was nice and big, staff pleasant to deal with.

The room next door was super noisy in the night, kept opening and closing the door and slamming it... Not ideal
Location was great, room was clean and tidy. We had everything we needed, staff were great and loved we could order a pillow, extra comfort.

Easy parking, comfortable bed. Even though near a main road the room was reasonably quiet. Close to facilities and shops.

Walls were thin, could hear the conversation next door easily even though they were not talking loud.
Friendly staff. Great location for events at Trust Arena. Basic but nice breakfast for $15. Bathroom products like soap, shampoo and such in refillable containers.

Only let down was no extraction fan in the bathroom so bathroom was quite stuffy and musty no ventilation although it did have high up sliding windows didnt like that for security. No lock on bathroom door. No toilet brush.
Awesome location for what we needed, 5 min walk to trusts arena, bottle store in same complex, fast food and dine in restaurants in 2min walk. Open space, good parking. Overall great room, deck ect and area would definitely stay again. Value for money .

Bed was quite small for 2 people. No fan in bathroom. Had windows that don't lock so anybody can open them into our bathroom from outside. Noise was a big problem- you can hear EVERYTHING going on outside, so sleep was disturbed throughout the night and woke early in the morning to a possible resident onsite yelling around the property for about 30 mins. Very thin walls. Lift to access 2nd floor appeared to be a bit run-down and old. Volume was limited on the tv, was not able to increase sound, so could barely hear movie playing. Free wifi requires you to accept your email address to be used for Marketing Purposes, before you can use it so beware! Didn't feel as safe staying in the Premium upstairs rooms that are located close to but not inside the main building. Have stayed once before (about 5 years ago) and stayed in Standard room located in main building and felt safer.
Staff were friendly and accomodating. Room was very big, clean and tidy. Liked it had a balcony. Closest Accommodation we could find to visit Costco. Bath was nice. Shower pressure was good, although had to be careful as when initially turned on, the pressure was like a water blaster!

The first room that was given to me was very dark with out of date colours. For 2 people it was too large.it was not warm and inviting making me feel very uncomfortable.
