We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IsraelPicking up the key from a different location is a bit of a hassle, especially with family and luggage (though it was known in advance). The host was not very communicative and did not always answer, There was maintenance being done while we were there and we did not know about it. Air conditioning only in the living room. Not a problem when we were traveling but if you plan to stay in the summer you should know.

New ZealandFetching the keys from a different location was very inconvenient and the charge for onsite parking was $35/day. A dishwasher was present, no sponge or cloth to wipe bench and more dish drying towels would have been good.
Superb central location, very spacious 2 br, 2 bathroom town house. Well kitted out. We were very comfortable. Had problem connecting to wi-fi and the team were responsive in coming to reset the router.

The parking spot is extra and I didn’t know that ahead either.

United KingdomWhat a palaver to pick up the keys. We had to drive to another place on the busiest rush hour street, with no parking outside, to find that the front door of the building we had to go into to get the keys would not open and we hadn't been sent the keypad number for this building. So we had a 10 minute phone call to someone, whose number was on the door of the building, until they could find the code to get in. Then we had to go back to that building, when we left, to drop the keys off. We also weren't given the number on the keypad to get us into the building we were staying in, so had to go through the garage door every time. I'm just glad I was arriving by car. If I'd been arriving on foot and had to traipse across town to get the keys, I'd have been even less happy

Also the parking instructions were not available, had to figure it out and then the apartment location instructions were not clear when entering the complex from the carpark. AustraliaThe final steps to the booking process left a lot to be desired. By the time we arrived at the property we had no means of accessing it. We were sent an email that morning detailing the access arrangements, but we were already on the road to the property. Finding out the access process while standing outside the property was not a good start. Then you needed to walk about 10 minutes each way to collect the keys and other access fobs. These access arrangements should be sent at least 24 hours before to give time to see the emails at the previous destination where WiFi and other reception readily assists reading emails and messages. Also, while we were promised parking on site, and we were given a fob for the garage underneath the property, there was no indication given about which of the car parks belonged to permanent residents and which were for visitors. We picked a car park only to find terse messages on our car later in the evening advising we where in a reserved spot. Again, some better communication on this would save such a hassle. In the end, we decided to park in the street. Not the desired outcome as it was all paid parking over the daytime. Some improvement in communication about this aspect would be good in the emails setting out the arrival processes.
The property was beautifully presented and very comfortable. Kitchen facilities were very good. It’s also in a great location for walking around Wellington. Beds were quite comfortable.

New ZealandUnfortunately the wifi wasn't working when we arrived, but that was fixed the next day. The key is a 10min walk away from the apartment, at the hotel that owns it. Not a big deal, especially because the taxi was willing to wait for us.
Very comfortable apartment. The beds and the couch were very good. The bedrooms are spacious and the large floor to ceiling windows makes the space feel very luxurious. The apartment is located in the centre of Wellington, 3min walk from the best supermarket in Wellington. In the morning we got fresh orange juice, bread and coffee there for breakfast, absolutely wonderful! Even though it is in the city centre it was pretty quiet and felt private.
