Peaceful location, quick drive to town. John was very welcoming and a great host. Towels were soft and felt luxurious. Bed was comfy and accommodation was very spacious. Would come back again and stay longer next time!

Nothing! My only comment is that it is a km from town so if you don't have a car it would be difficult. With a car its only 2 minutes to town and I never had an issue finding a park.

I cannot fault this property - it was a wonderful, private and quiet/peaceful retreat. It has everything you need in a wonderful setting. Highly recommended.

The location of the room is very secluded and quiet, and still in the downtown of Wānaka. The garden around the house is beautiful. I feel calm and relaxed there. The room is very big and clean. Just like the pictures shown on the pages. The kitchen is really functional. The host is friendly and helpful. It is the best hotel room of all my journeys in New Zealand.

Wow this place is amazing! Can’t believe how lovely it is, it looks absolutely brand new. The owner was incredibly lovely and check in was easy. All very comfortable and clean. You can walk into town if you need to and can cut across the golf course to make it quicker.

Fantastic place. All I’d say is add a small outside table and a case stand for the bedrooms. Most couples travelling will have 2 cases.

We had to pass through host's house and garden - it could feel like we were intruding into host's space and routines when going in and out of the accommodation.

Quietly located within extensive garden with lot's of trees and birds, giving impression we were in the midst of a forest even though the accommodation was practically located within town. Comfortably appointed, everything one needs for a simple holiday home, abundant space, high quality toiletries, beautiful posters and well-taken photos in living rooms. Excellent selection of TV programmes. Friendly host. PS: This reviewer is biased because he likes nature, trees, birds, gardening, and landscape photography.

it is a 20+ minute walk to town but fine with a car

the property is nicely appointed, very clean & comfortable. Situated down a long drive it is very quiet & private we would be happy to recommend and would stay here again

Private, spacious one bedroom unit with a pleasant outlook and an easy walk into town and the lakefront. Situated on the same land as the owner, but quite separate and private. Spotlessly clean. Having a washing machine was great too. Friendly host. I can't fault the property. Thank you John

Peaceful, private, spacious for a couple, under cover parking. Surrounded by nature and a very short drive into town.
