It was a bit tricky to keep the shower water from spilling out onto the floor, but that’s definitely not specific to this location.

I could not imagine more hospitable staff. The team treated us like family, from the daily delicious breakfast to personalized recommendations about our daily activities.

Gluten free option for breakfast box (e.g. some gf bread or patacones or potatoes would be good) as otherwise it's just a couple slices of ham & cheese in a little plastic bag.

Rooms was spacious, bed was huge & comfortable. Heating was controllable from the room so it meant we could turn it up ourselves and not be cold. Complimentary airport pickup. Breakfast was good. They looked after our bags free of charge while we did the 4 day inca trek.

The staff at the hotel were outstanding. Every staff member greeted us upon every encounter and were all very welcoming; this is how all customer service staff should behave, but is harder to find in today’s world. The hotel is quaint and authentic. Everything was comfortable and very clean. The morning breakfast was very good with eggs made-to-order, pastries, fruits, and yogurt. The property is located on a side, dead-end street, so it is quieter than most areas. Despite this, it is only a few blocks walking to the main square. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. all within a few minutes walking. If we come back to Cusco, this is without a doubt, where we will stay. This may have been our best stay in our two weeks in Peru.

The property was perfect for us.

There was a lot to like about the property - the location was amazing, situated in the pretty San Blas area allowing for an easy walk to points of interest (main square, panoramic view points, San Pedro market). The property itself was lovely with it’s decor giving off old fashion ranch vibes - wooden furniture, old ceiling beams and exposed floorboards. The staff were amazing. So helpful and caring, making the effort to ensure everything was OK and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was great; a continental offering with eggs, hams, bread, avocado and cereals and plenty of nice juices.

We would have preferred a room higher up to see the lights of the city. Also, if you are just arriving in Cusco without acclimatising to the altitude, please get a cab to the hotel - its up a hill and you will likely get out of breath and dizzy!

The other reviews comment upon the high level of service in this nice hotel - we absolutely agree. The owners couldn't be more helpful. Nice room and a nice buffet breakfast.

Loved our room! Was comfortable, nice size and very quiet. We had the ‘spacious double’ for three nights and then had another night in a regular double after a multi day hike which was also comfortable. The spacious room was our preference. The staff was helpful, breakfast tasty and it’s in a good location, near nice restaurants / cafes and close enough to the main square for ease but far enough away for a peaceful sleep / rest. My husband loved having a TV with good channels and could even watch a football game from the UK!

    All good.

The hotel is in a great location just over 10 minutes walk from the main square. There are lots of restaurants nearby (including Jack’s Cafe) and dozens of small shops selling toiletries groceries etc. All the staff were delightful. We loved our room which was charming, slightly quirky and overlooked the street with a (very) small balcony so had natural light. However, some rooms look onto the inner courtyard with no outer window, so worth checking when you book.

The best part of my stay was the friendly staff, especially Rosa. She provided me with helpful hints on where to find the best-roasted chicken and where to shop for jewelry for my wife and daughters. Perhaps it was the altitude, but the view of the Cusco hills from my room always left me breathless.

The only little annoyance was the squeaky flooring in the room just above me. One night those folks got up at 4 am and woke me up just walking around and squeaking :D

An excellent hotel. A spacious room which despite overlooking the road turned out to be very quiet. Very friendly staff at the reception and at breakfast. Felt really welcome. The breakfast is all fresh staff and made to order eggs - really healthy and filling.

This was the best hotel we stayed during our one month trip in South America. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location is great, close to everything yet quiet. Spectacular staff, very nice people that made our stay unforgettable. They saw my wife’s birthday on her document and made a surprise birthday cake which was very thoughtful. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Location was perfect being close enough to main attractions without being in all the crowds and hustle bustle. Staff super helpful and friendly making sure we had access to a doctor when I got sick. Breakfast was really good with eggs cooked how you like and loads of fruit, cereal, fresh breads. Highly recommend

    I can't think of any :)

The staff was very friendly and they were able to accommodate a last minute request. The breakfast is good and we ordered dinner one day and it was delicious. The facilities are good and cute and you have a little patio on the 4th floor with views. They have heaters which made us stay so cozy in as we have been in many other accommodation in Peru and that's not common to have. Temperatures can change very drastically in Cusco and can be very chilly at night. Location was good also, quite area and close to plaza de armas.

Not all rooms have windows to the outside (only to the inner patio), so I asked them to please give one to us, which they kindly did. There is no mini fridge in the hotel, which would be nice. But honestly these are very little things that didn't bother me.

This hotel was awesome. The rooms are spacious, very clean, bed is comfortable. It was also surprisingly quite when we were there, maybe because it was a low season. Hotel staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, wifi worked perfectly, hotel is close to everything, breakfast is decent, you can ask to pack it to go if you leave to the airport or to a tour. Ask for a room with a window (not all of them have it, some only have windows to the inside of the patio). Highly recommended
