The casa is beautiful and characterful with a lovely courtyard . It is in a quiet location full of character. It is a pleasant walk in to the city. Lots of hot water , friendly staff. Amazing value for money and well suited to those on a limited budget. What really makes this place stand out is the owner Antonio, he is an amazing host. Rarely have we had someone take so much trouble to suggest places of interest, foods to try and places to eat in such detail. Nothing was too much trouble. He even stored our bags when we went on an overnight trip. Thank you.

Posada Nueva España is a great option in Arequipa. Well located near the historic centre but out of the hustle and bustle. It's an old house with traditional courtyards, and equipped and decorated with love and care. The host is a great conversationalist (in an impressive number of languages) and will make you feel very welcome and at home. The neighborhood is also great for a stroll, with nice places to eat and the Plaza de Yanahuara not far away. We had a great experience staying here.

It's the third time here. Just perfect. I love breakfast served in the garden patio. Always helpful. You can speak French and English besides Spanish. It is peaceful. And a nice walk downtown, restaurants and stores. Perfect for us.

Breakfast: it was outside; quite chilly in the morning. Also the coffee is not very good The front door is kept closed and, not having a key, a number of times we had difficulties in getting into the property; crew sometimes takes some time to respond to the doorbell, and we had to insist for a number of minutes.

We didn't have many options for breakfast and the bathroom only had basic soap. But for the price, we couldn't complain. Also the hotel is a bit of a distance from the centre and requires you to go up hill a little bit, which can be tiring at this higher altitude. But none of this was a deal breaker for us!

Great value for money considering it is only 15 minutes from the city centre. Check-in was easy and the staff were very accommodating, keeping us a room when we went on a 2-day tour and when we had to stay a bit longer due to unexpected flight cancellations. The hotel itself is in a pretty building, away from the main street so provides a nice sense of tranquility. The room is comfortable and had a nice view of the courtyard with fruit trees. The location also meant we explored more of Yanahuara (including the Mt Misti viewpoint and Picanterías) than we would have otherwise have done.

Bed wasn't super comfy neither were the pillows. Breakfast was ok but basic. But that's quite usual for Peruvian breakfast I think.

Very friendly staff. She arranged our taxi for our leave. Beautiful courtyard. The room was spacious, as well as the shower. 10 min walk to nice places to eat!

Amazing place to stay. The center is just 15min walk from the hotel. Braulio and his staff are super helpful and friendly. They had our room ready way before check in time and helped us with our early arrival. They even arranged a taxi for us and waited in the Middle of the when we had to good on a tour early in the morning. We didnt manage to have from their homemade breakfast but he prepared a small bag. Room and bathroom were spot clean ! Absolutely recommend the place !

The room got rather cold at night (June) and the mattresses were not all that comfortable. Apart from that, I highly recommend!

The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. The property is nice and we felt safe walking there from downtown even in the darkness. The room was large and very clean with hot shower.

The location was different than the center since it was close to Plaza Yanahaura and a big mall. The only minor complaint would be the pillows were not great but for the price of the rooms really cannot complain.

The staff are super friendly and even allowed us to check out later since we had a night bus later in the day. The owner made sure we got to our taxi safe. The showers and rooms were quite nice for the price.
