Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesEvery staff was really friendly and courteous apart from one in concierge name Joralyn. My husband was asking two questions, first was if there's a hot water in our shower and how she communicate and responded to us was a bit rude and unfriendly, then when my husband asked if we could get the code for the WiFi, she did make face in front of us, it's very inappropriate to do that and as a concierge, no matter what you are going through on your personal lives, this shouldn't reflect when you are working and when you are infront of your guests.
The room was very clean, lots of amenities and great location if you just want to relax and have a quiet time. It's a 20 mins. walk from Astoria, it offers shuttle services since the resort itself is massive.

PhilippinesIt is a nice hotel to stay. Just don't like the smell of the room the every time we will enter, it is like an old room/cabinet that didn't use for a long time. They should put air freshener. but over all the room, the services is good. And also, additional cab so it will not be hard to wait for the cab since the main gate is far from the lobby.

AustraliaMany facilities, however without a "compendium" (as they are called in the Philippines) it was difficult to work out what was available where. also the pools could be deeper.
Private beach was excellent, transport options into station 2 were welcome, massage was good (although multiple enquiries had to be made to work out location - see compendium comment below)

Turkey- Breakfast is poor compared to the price and other hotels. - There is NO hot water in the rooms from 4pm onwards. You can get hot water if you shower after 11pm. So you will shower with cold water unless you wait until very late. - They start mowing the lawn at 6am in the morning for golfers. We asked the reception if they could start later. They started at 7am the next day. So forget about sleeping if your room is facing/close to one of the golf yards. - Private beach is nice but kinda deserted!
- Very welcoming and kind staff - Clean rooms - Quick shuttle service

CanadaSeems like they are understaffed. Room requests can take forever to be fulfilled. The shuttle that you take to get around the property does not come often enough during peak times.
We stayed here in February. Rooms were well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly. Good food available at their restaurants. Enjoyed the swimming pools.

United StatesThe lack of a printed map given to guests on checkin so you know where things are is a big problem. The place is very spread out and the only way to get anywhere is by a shuttle or ridiculous long walks with no appropriate signage to tell you where to go. It appears some parts of this facility are not used. The beach is nice. Food is acceptable but nothing special.
It is a bit dated but overall not bad condition. Staff is extremely friendly and there is a lot of them. Always smiling and saying hello.

PhilippinesAccording to the receptionist, the room we initially reserved, which boasted a picturesque view, is situated too far from the hotel lobby and breakfast buffet area. As an alternative, we were graciously offered the option to relocate to a room within the main building for added convenience. However, the room differed from the advertised picture, offering a view of another building without the promised pool or garden scenery. But for the sake of convenience and easy transfers thru shuttle service, we stayed in the main building. The shuttle service from the hotel gate to the mainland and other stations/vice versa operates on a limited schedule, with departures at 9am, 3pm, and 9pm. We often resort to using e-trikes to reach other destinations, incurring additional expenses.
The resort if so huge. We appreciate the privacy, the quieter atmosphere, along with a range of amenities to enjoy. There is a private beach that is for exclusive use of the hotel guests and it is also walking distance to the Key Hole (a popular land tour spot). Additionally, the availability of shuttle services for exploring the resort ensures minimal waiting time, allowing for convenient transportation "within the premises".

PolandThe value is phenomenal! Just be aware, this used to be award winning resort precovid. Since then half of its facilities is abandoned and isn't presenting itself too well, including the biggest beachside pool with apocalyptic vibe. However, you still get a wonderful experience with the remaining pools available, including 2 infinity pools or a more relaxed pool by the main gate. Be aware the resort is huge - you either must enjoy walking or be patient with the resort shuttles not to ruin your experience. The room itself was big, comfortable and clean. Last but not least - the staff is really amazing! They were happy to assist with whatever issue there were. The only issue with the place seems to be the lack of proper management.
