How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We liked everything.
We found it very easy to get into property. Property was very clean and comfortable. Property was in excellent location. Aneta was a very helpful host .

There isn’t anything that I disliked.
It’s very close to the city centre but very quiet. The apartment was spacious and the facilities as expected. It was very easy to check in, the information given in advance was perfectly clear.

If there was a washing machine, that would be even perfect. We stayed for 4 nights, so it was manageable.

Everything. No complaints whatsoever. Good location. Perfect for a few nights in Poznan. Very spacious apartment, clean and with everything you can possibly need. We didn't get to meet the hosts but received an email giving excellent instructions for finding and accessing our apartment and I'm sure had we experienced any difficulties or problems they would have responded quickly to an email or phone call. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Easy to navigate getting the keys as the instructions were very clear (in English). Apartment location is great. Walk9ng distance to everything but just outside of the busy centre. Very clean and comfortable apartment with all needs satisfied for a long weekend break. Exactly as advertised.

Great location in a busy street but the apartment is away from any noise. For the 5 nights I was there I never heard any intrusive noise whatsoever. The apartment has excellent electronic total blackout blinds which is perfect for light sensitive sleepers. Great shower pressure.

very comfortable apartment, 30m2, in a street 200m from the main square. Lots of shops 50 m away (Zabka, bakeries, butchers, etc.). The apartment is in 2 bodies of the building, so quiet. There is everything you need to cook, it's perfect! I'll be back.

Just one little help would have been some written instructions for the use of equipment. Also some leaflets from information office of where one can visit. English Channel on TV would also be good for visitors.
Aneta is an exceptional host.. Prompt with replies to querys The apartment is impeccable. Location couldn't be better to go around. Definitely a good rental

The bathroom could have been cleaner especially the heater
Its location is just perfect🙌Less than 10 mins walk to main attractions and top coffee shops, cocktail bars. More than that the host was so responsive that I felt like I stayed at my friend’s house.

Smell of cigarette smoke initially on arrival but opening windows sorted that.
Secure building, coffee and other necessities supplied, especially as it was Easter and no local shops open. Great contact with owner, all instructions easy to follow on how to enter the building/check in and out. Nothing was any problem for her, very prompt replies to any of our queries

Lack of a washing machine is really my only complaint for this apartment, the addition of a spare change of bedding would also have been sufficient for this purpose.
Very comfortable apartment close to the old town square and within walking distance of everything you could need. Will look back fondly on this trip.

there were not any toiletries but soap and shower gel mixed with water. it was a bit disappointing
