Rooms and spaces need updating--seems a bit worn out

Love the overall atmosphere in the castle and great location. Food was amazing. We stayed in 'Travellers room' which gave that extra castle experience and beautiful views. Great tours - we went on night tour and one revealing war secrets. Definitely recommend and hope to be back again.

Language barrier. just few of the staff speak in English. I was annoyed because I couldn't understand the night tour. My wife translate to me...but the rest was perfect and beautiful.

Hotel was lovely but the shower could have been a little cleaner. No real negative comments and would suggest people stay here.

Love the castle. It is magnificient and I am only sorry we didn't have more time. The breakfast was delicious and voluminous. Dinner was also great. Bed was comfortable and temperature was fine. View can't be beat. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to spend the night in a castle.

The location is great, and castle territory is very nice. Room was big enough, and staff not only checked us in late at night but also prepared the additional bed without any problem.

Parking was limited, but there were spaces to park. Be careful not to get blocked in.

Zamek Czocha is a distance from the nearest town and a wonderful site with an interesting history, I took friends because we wanted to stay in a castle for their daughter's birthday. The tours available were great. We enjoyed ourselves and went to the town for lunch each day. Breakfast was good and, though crowded, there was space and things moved quickly. It's a good place.

Directions from carpark to reception very difficult to find. The sign needs to be more prominent. Suggest brighter colours that catch the eye.

Nothing has happened in the castle at night. It was “ a dead “ please. There was a lot of very disappointed tourists, no night tours in the castle, no open cafe, what a waste of a such a beautiful ZAMEK (castle). Somebody who runs this place must think harder! I do understand that this please needs money for restoration.... hello! This place has a lot of opportunities!

The Zamek Czocha is wonderful outside, inside however little disappointing. Restaurant; dinner and breakfast was very good. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is beautiful please to spend a day ( outside).

The room was small and had the basics, except a mirror! Bathroom across the hall was shared, luckily we had it to ourselves.

shower had no hot water and cold tap was barely a trickle, it is an 700year old castle so this is understandable. Staff spoke virtually no English and barely communicated with us on check in. Though some staff were very helpful and friendly. Night tour would have been great but was only available in Polish unfortunately.

4th floor for the economy rooms we had (401 and 402), In the set of keys for 401 none opened the common bathroom-WC. Some confusion about the check in and out after our stay.

the castle (very impressive), the friendly service, the standard double room was absolutely OK. The two economy rooms were not quite like on the description (no shower cabin in the room, but together with the WC next door). The rooms were very simple, but good beds. There I learnt that there are two types of economy rooms: some on the 2nd floor with shower cabin in the room, some on the 4th floor without shower cabin in the room. It is preferable to specify which kind of economy room one wants by the reservation, since both have the same price, the reception said. Good restaurant, excellent breakfast.

Although we loved the experience, next time we would chose the more premium room option given our room was a bit basic and small (not unusual in a castle though!).

The external walkways are terrible, low quality, damaged, uneven asphalt. The restaurant starts too late for breakfast

It's a pity that the guided tours are in Polish only. It seems like the castle has a rich history and perhaps you could have one or two guided tours in English or at least in German? If not, perhaps the guide could do a short English summary of every stop, during the regular Polish one?
