You get more than what you pay for at Pandora. The location is prime to access the best spots on the island, it’s a 10min walk from a beautiful waterfall that you can swim in and watch the sunset. Lou is one of the most genuine, funny and interesting people you’ll ever encounter. He goes above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel at home. He also gave us tips on where to go depending on the weather. Very cozy rooms and the facilities are always clean. The only downside is having to leave🥲 We will miss you Lou! The room was a bit small - this was ok for one night but not perhaps for more. The view from the window was very uninspiring - again, staying for only 1 night this did not really matter. That's about it!

There were no problems with checking in or out. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good and varied. The location was excellent for access to town and waterfront. They were very efficient in the arranging of a taxi for us - for both our arrival and departure. We were perfectly happy with the whole experience.

If you stay at the hotel, I recommend asking for and if necessary paying the extra price for a room facing the back. Inspite of the double glazed window, the bars in the street are still loud enough to hear at night. With earplugs and the windows closed it was ok for a night.

The staff is incredibly nice and the room was very clean. Large bathroom with excellent shower and good towels. Breakfast in buffet style with enough variety..

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They prepared a to-go breakfast for me because I had a very early flight. It’s in a great location with several restaurants on the same street.

Taxi cost via hotel is double the normal taxi price and that put a sour taste in my mouth. Hotels should not overcharge guests

not much to say here - my issue in general is that Azores hotels don’t have conditioner provided (just shampoo). Pack your own conditioner!! Also the noise from the downstairs restaurant can be a bit loud, so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep early or sleep in.

Outside of being centrally located on a charming cobble stone street, the staff are very helpful. The hotel is historic and has lots of tastleful artwork inside, well designed. Breakfast is also very good. Rooms are partially renovated, lots of towels provided, beds are comfy. Overall solid stay.

The room was fairly modest in size and accoutrements, but had everything I needed.

The location was amazing! Right in the middle of everything. Seemed like a great value for the area. Reception helped me set-up my 6 am taxi to the airport and even left breakfast out for me.

No mini fridge and only provided one complimentary bottle of water. No snacks. Mattress was the worst like sleeping on an ironing board. Would not go back for that reason.

Great location for walking to shops and dining. The young woman on the day desk was very helpful with information. Room was clean with fresh towels daily. Daily breakfast was good with fresh food.

My initial impressions of the hotel. There was a fancier place across the street that probably was twice or more the cost of mine, but there is no way it could have been twice as nice. I realized this as my stay continued. Super happy with my hotel choice.

Staff were more than wonderful! Very friendly and helpful front desk. Let us sit in lobby and change before our room was ready and called us a cab to the airport. Breakfast was exceptional.

The bathroom was very wet all the time, despite it not being a wet room.

The location was fabulous. It was very worthwhile to be able to set out on foot everyday and be immediately downtown. The room itself (the red one with three beds) was reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options.

Can be noisy outside if your room is facing the street and you OPEN a window. If windows are close, then no noise is coming through. Not even the noise of the crowd coming from the near by pubs. There are also air conditioners engines that making noise so open window (we like open window to get fresh air) can be an issue in general. Depends on room location

The hotel is located in an excellent location. It is close to the bay but away from the main street, which is a huge plus! It is situated near multiple pubs where young people hang out, as well as bars and coffee shops. However, if you open the window at night until 2 am, it can be a bit noisy. The rooms are spacious with large windows that can be opened. The only issue is that if the window faces the street, there is constant noise coming from nearby air conditioner engines. If you are a light sleeper, this can be a problem. The bathroom is very spacious and has everything you need. The breakfast is good and sufficient. They also provide towels for the hot springs (red towels). The checkout time (at least when we stayed) is at 12 pm, so there is enough time to visit Caldeira Velha hot springs in the morning, come back, and have a shower before leaving. There is a parking problem around the area, but there is an underground parking lot very close by with unlimited parking at a very attractive price. Overall, it is an excellent choice for young travelers or couples who enjoy hanging out in local pubs until late.

The mattress could have been more comfortable. I slept in a twin bed and the mattress was hard and a bit lumpy.

Central/convenient location in wonderful Ponta Delgada with very friendly staff. They accommodated our request to move from a noisy first floor street side room to the fourth floor which was very nice.
