We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable; they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The apartment was very spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. It's a few minutes walk from the beach, and close to shops, restaurants etc. It was lovely and quiet in the hotel. The staff are AMAZING! Jose could not have been more charming and helpful He went above and beyond. His English is perfect. He is a real star! The little resort is very nice - lovely beach, plenty of places to eat and drink, just the right balance for us between lively and peaceful.

There was nothing we disliked

The convenience of the local shops and the beaches. The friendlyness of the staff at the hotel and a special mention for Jose who was extremely helpful. All in all we would stay there again....hopefully next year.

The man of the reception was very friendly and helpful The apartment was spacious and well furbished, the kitchen well equipped Well constructed building with massive doors and good isolation against noise from neighbours and heat Good blackout curtains In the immediate vicinity are all necessary facilities like restaurants ("Sweet Break!"), ATM's, supermarkets, travel agencies, pharmacies, an (inter)local busstop with connection to Albufeira, Faro and Vila Real 600 m from the beach One of the most beautiful coastlines of the Algarve. Have a walk!

Bit of noise from the surrounding buildings but apart from that absolutely nothing.

Lovely warm welcome at reception. Staff can't do enough for you. Apartment was huge, airy & beautifully laid out. Extremely reasonably priced. Cleaned every day to very high standard. Lots of eateries in walking distance. Close to Albufeira and Vlamoura via, bus or walking. On day of check out, lovely bottle of wine left, which is a nice touch. We can't recommend it enough. It's like home from home and we miss being there and will be visiting again!

The only issue at all was the noise from surrounding hotels. Live entertainment until incredibly late. Obviously this is not the fault of the Aquamar and could not be helped but thought I would mention it as for some people this would really negatively effect their holiday. Everything else though was spot on.

The staff at reception and in the bar were so lovely. They couldn’t do enough for us, so helpful. The apartments were big, have everything you need and were very clean. The entire building was spotless. Great location, with just a short walk to the beach and shops and restaurants just over the road.

For a group of 3, we only had 2 normal size mugs which was a bit inconvenient but other than that everything else was great. Pots, pans, plates, dish towel, cutlery, oven, microwave, kettle and fridge provided in the kitchen.

Lovely clean facilities, the cleaners do an absolutely fabulous job. The rooms were bigger than they looked in the photos and there was a small pack of dish soap, dish sponge and sponge towel which was helpful. We got given each a hand towel and large bath sheet as well as shampoo/shower gel and hand wash bottles. The airdryer rack on the balcony was very handy and we asked to borrow the iron and ironing board from reception. They were very friendly and helpful too, especially on the first night when we had to check in at night due to our late landing and there was a staff member who contacted us via webcam to check us in. The location is pretty good as we wanted to visit Lagos, Benegil and Faro on our few days of visits as well as the old town in Albufeira. Getting around by Uber and Bolt was around 30-40mins each way for each of the places, it might be a lot easier for people who can drive around themselves. Generally a good starting point as it's halfway between most points of interest we wanted to see. The pool was not busy at all during the times we stayed there, two pools 160cm deep and a third shallow paddling pool. Water was quite cold considering it was 28 degrees generally but it made for a refreshing dip. Pool towel hire is 1 euro I believe but we didn't need use this service.

Everything to be honest. THe friendliness of staff, their helpfulness was incredible. A huge huge shout out to Paula and Jose at the front desk who went out of their way to look after our every need ... they are an absolute credit to the hotel and I hope they are recognised for the fantastic job they are doing there. They were funny and engaging, always smiling and relaxed. Thnak you both
