We really love this property. It has old fashion charm but our room had very nice contemporary design with well organized bathroom. The breakfast was well set up and on time with choices that satisfied our needs. Bonus was property manger who is very charming and helpful man. Thanks Jorge you made our stay memorable experience.

To us, arriving at Casa De Campo felt like entering a little paradise. The quiet surroundings, the lovely courtyard (where you can have breakfast in the morning), the decorations, and last not but least the majordomus Jorge. Some things have an old touch to them as it is an old house, but we thought this was charming, and part of the bedrooms are newly renovated. We were there off season and the value-for-money was absolutely amazing! We also loved the very cute cats that hang around the property

You’ll need a car when staying here to get around! Expected but one to note for guests

Hospitality from Jorge was some of the best we’ve experienced, super relaxed and made us feel right at home / comfortable within the space. Would highly recommend to others for a relaxing getaway in the Portuguese countryside. The place itself had a lot of antique and rustic touches which gave it a real cultural and historic feel. Loved the place!

There is no TV in the room but not a great deal as you can watch it in the TV room and there are a lot of stations in different languages. Missed the evening chats with Jorge :)

The location is very central and you can reach out many places. The surroundings of the property are very quiet and peaceful. Jorge is very caring and makes your stay wonderful. He is one of the best host we had ever met. Breakfast was good and even the pool facilities. The room was great and very clean.

Very nice, well-kept site with a beautiful old building. Modern bathrooms, cosy big rooms. Everything was very clean. The concierge was very friendly and supportive. He showed me around the property and told me some of its history. I've been there in autumn, unfortunately it rained a lot. I guess especially in summer it's awesome there with an outdoor pool and nice sitting opportunities around it.

Just warning: the restaurant in the village and the one 2km further on close on monday night and I believe on tuesday too.. (they are said to be good). Some options in Mira, 5km.

Senhor Jorge, the house keeper, is a formidable host, really makes you feel at home at Colmeal, Casa de Campo and he prepares a great breakfast. Everything in and around the house is beautifully arranged and cared for, with country style objects and plants and flowers. Nice to have a fine swimming pool too.

The weather sadly not able to use the pool as cloudy and cool on the days we were there.

Breakfast very good and we were able to eat outside in the garden. Very good covid friendly hygenic and plenty of choice. JORGE is fabulous host and we went to the local bar restaurant in the small village and had great food and a good time with the locals.

Don't book this location without having a car. Indeed, the village has no restaurant/bar to offer.
