Unfortunately the air conditioning did not work. We arrived back at midnight to a very hot apartment with nobody to contact. A portable unit was provided the next day (between 3 rooms) which did help but was noisy.

Relaxing pool area with loungers and shade. Great beach across road (down steps) with water sports, bar, cliff walk and lots of scope for beach walking and swimming. Also within walking distance of some nice restaurants

The corridors on the first floor are very dark . The breakfast could be much better. We got a very early flight and there was noone at the time we checked out.

The beach across the street is spectacular and there are plenty of restaurants and shops walking distance. The shower had great water pressure.

The staff was not friendly or willing to help with tourist information at all. When we tried to buy breakfast, we were told they weren't serving on Monday? No notice anywhere. One of our rooms was not clean upon arrival; they had to move us to another room since trash and used towels were still in room. Another room had ants and they said they couldn't do anything about it. The room upstairs is extremely dated; furniture needs an upgrade. The shower head was old and kept falling off the holder. We just gave up and left it on the bottom of the tub. Body wash dispensers were empty.

The location was great! Right next to the beach, although it should be noted that there are 122 (yes, I counted) stairs to climb back up from the beach. Short 10 minute walk to a small grocery store and a few restaurants. Good AC. Pools were nice and clean with plenty of sun loungers.

The gym is terrible. Just old equipment that does not work. Unfortanetly several employees were unfriendly and they were annoyed when we asked them something. They did not say 'hello' or 'bye'.

The location of the Appartement was perfekt. Just a few meters away from the beautyful beach. Our room was very new and modern.

Kitchen facilities limited - just a hob and microwave and one small cupboard to keep any food in so don’t think you could do fully self-catered. Not enough storage/hooks to hang things on in rooms. Mirrors in bedrooms would be useful. Cleaning service hit & miss - turned up at 5ish twice - not a convenient time. Missed us totally on our last night.

Location excellent, 2 minute walk to the beach. People have mentioned ‘very steep’ steps - we didn’t find them very steep at all. Also plenty of restaurants, shops & supermarket within easy reach. I am totally confused by all of the reviews saying Clube Maria Luisa is at the bottom of a long hill! You barely notice it is a hill onto the main road of bars/restaurants. People also mentioned staff being rude - everyone we interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. Lovely quiet, family friendly resort. 2 bed apartments immaculate. Great pool area and beach access is unbeatable.

Unfortunately the service was very bad. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. When room service came to clean, we threw the towels on the floor, only after then they said that they change the towels every 3 days and so we didn't get any new towels. Our towels were messy and dirty. So we explained the situation at the reception and asked very polite if we could get new towels. First they promised us that the service would bring us the new ones. We waited like 3 hours and after then we called at the reception and asked again, after then they told us that we had to pay for the towels, but they didn't know how to charge us for the towels. After 3 hours we had 2 towels for 2.50 euros. We were all very annoyed. Although one of us had a little accident on the beach and we asked for the first aid kit, first they told us that they do not have any but later they told us that they have one but it is empty. The staff was really ignorant and cynical.

The apartment was nice and clean, the location was also great, very close to the beach.

It was small apartment for a family of five especially since our children are grown. The first day a cleaning lady entered our room on our way out to clean and luckily we can back early from the beach. The door to the apartment was left open. Otherwise the complex was nice overall and great location to the beach. Front desk service was great. Also think that a safe should be included in the price and not an extra.

The apartment was updated. It was nice to have a renovated room. Loved the close proximity to the beach.

Two things: again telling this so that the ow era can improve their services. I do not mean to in necessarily criticise. 1) breakfast was not very good, very less variety, and refills were mostly for crosswinds and nothing else. They were charging €8 per adult but I felt the quantity and quality of breakfast didn’t meet the expectation. After two days we prepared our own. Real fast. 2) on the last day we noticed that cleaning lady was using the mob to clean the inside of the toilet (commode). This is very very unhygenic. I felt very bad when I saw this. As rest of thnx e toilet was mopped with the same thing. Please instruct your cleaning staff not to do this. Someone can catch an disease eorh this practise

I liked staff help, I asked them to print out my boarding pass and they had no problem with it. They initially didn’t provide iron I had to ask twice , no complains just writing this so that they can improve their service. Overall good maintained property. They fulfilled all my pre requests that I made during my booking. Staff was very helpful.

Rooms needs some extras, mirrors in bedrooms, toilet holder and towel hooks in bathroom. Shower could do with a door on as water gets all over the floor! As it's self catering, would be helpful if some kitchen cleaning stuff was supplied, like tea towel and cleaning cloth! One issue was there was no room to use on the day of leaving, they had a shower in an outside room but it was dirty and shower tray broken so unable to be used.

Brilliant location, right by the beach. Good parking aswell. Stayed in 2 bed which was newly renovated and room was lovely with pool view (room 14 & room 17) Kitchen was good...all eating equipment provided and good selection. Pool is nice and plenty of shade to be had in garden area. Not many beds, but generally not alot of people use the pool so never had an issue

on the first day we were missing the bedsheets in one bed, they ensured us that they would’ve sort it out for us but it wasn’t like that. we came back late in the evening and still no bedsheets, so we went to talk to the receptionist and she was quite rude to us, saying that there was no way she could have help us and that we would have to sleep without the bedsheets that night😅

we enjoyed a lot the pool, the fact that the property was quite close to the beach and that it was very clean.
