There were two things about the property that were not so great. The hot water was scalding hot coming out of fixtures, it was well posted that it was so hot, but anybody could certainly scold themselves very easily. The other thing that wasn’t so good was the hardness of the mattresses on the beds. They were absolutely very hard, and when we awoke our bodies actually hurt a little bit from the hardness of the bed.

The location was great, the staff(Christina) was absolutely awesome. She was kind and welcoming, and took care of every possible need we had. Cleanliness was a plus. The restaurant café that was a part of the property was absolutely fantastic. The quality of the food was world class. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Peniche, Portugal.

Because it was on the ground floor, you couldn’t really have the window open, because passers-by could look straight into the bedroom. 

Great location. Even though check-in was via code, the owners were just next door in the cafe if you needed anything. Two minute walk to the gorgeous beach for spectacular sunset, and good swimming. Next door to cafe for breakfast and pizza shop for dinner.

I always stay here whenever I visit Peniche for the WSL surf contest because it's a no-frills but comfortable and quiet place away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to enjoy all the action and is at the far south end of the main Supertubos beach, so you can walk. Two cafes nearby that open early for coffee are a major bonus. Clean and everything you need.

Room needs to be aired out to get the musty smell out.

The location of the hotel is literally one block away from the beach. The beach (Frades) is very clean and sandy, more of local scene so its a nice change from being in heavy touristy spot. The hotel is located next to a bakery and the best pizza place we have tried in Portugal so far. The room is small and simple, as shown in the pictures. A bit musty. Host was super accommodating.

Upon arriving at premises , I thought place was abandoned Extremely dirty on the outside , front entrance , windows - it actually it did not look that it was functioning Also was not informed that the check-in was to be done in the bread shop next door . Girl was extremely rude concerning check in and time frame , like it was a big favour to let me in at 1pm , instead of 3pm I told her I was happy to wait - this was at 12.55pm , so she told me I had to wait “5minutes “ to be able to access room Not the best welcoming and at no time staff was courteous or helpful This place was recommended to me by my cousins , but at no time I would suggest it to anybody else Front of hotel remained dirty ( unswept n full of papers ) not very pleasant to walk in n out In 5 days room was only cleaned properly once , the rest was a lick n a promise One of the worst n most unwelcoming places I hv ever stayed
