Brazil2 reviewsVery goodThe second bedroom has two single beds, which are not at all comfortable and there is no closet in this bedroom. We were four people, one of them an elderly woman and it was really unconfortable for her to sleep in that bed (but also for me and I'm young, I slept on the couch). After the first night we've changed bedrooms with the other adults, but still, it's not a place for 4 adults, because we didn't have any place to put our clothes in the second bedroom. When we first arrived there we didn't find a coffee machine, but after I've sent a message (two days after) they send me one working well! Also, there is as indian restaurant next to the building, so there is a curry smell during the day that can be unconfortable for some people.
We liked the location a lot, it's literally across the street of the subway station, close to markets and coffee shops and some nice places to have lunch. Also, five minutes walking distance to Chiado. The place is clean, ventilated, has one nice bed in of the bedrooms and one nice closet. The kitchen has almost all the basic items and the machines work perfectly. The internet connection is also great and the elevator works fine as well. There was a coffee machine missing when we got there, but they send me a good one two days after the arrival.

The building is old and the elevator is nearly broken. Although the location situated nearby the metro, the location is a bit sketchy. No hair dryer but they mentioned that they have it on the website.

location is excellant to me. Close to main street, underground station and super markets. Kitchen has everything you need.

We got bit multiple times during our stay and unfortunately discovered the actual cause only on the last day. Furthermore: * The place had a horrible stench upon arrival, it took a couple of hours of keeping all windows open to get rid of it. * The beds were awful, the main bed creaked so bad that I woke up everyone every time I tried to turn the other side. * Asian restaurant downstairs directs all of its oil grease and fish frying smell directly in from the window which is impossible to avoid because there is no AC. * The couch had awful stains covered by a blanket. * The check-in is 30 minutes away and you can only pay in cash for city tax. * The host is impossible to reach, I called 3 times and no one answered to the number given by the office!
The location was somewhat good, there were good breakfast/brunch places nearby (Curva).

France54 reviews4 helpful votesPassableThe operator/professional host - "Feels Like Home" - should probably be rebranded as "Feels like a broken home": many of the equipments/pieces of furniture were faulty or not quite working: - the bindings of the black-out curtains in one of the bedroom are broken, the curtain is gone. - the bar of the curtains in the living room fell on me as I tried to open them this morning. - one light bulb (next to that window) has died in the living room, another one next to the twin beds is dead; yet another one (next to the TV) is very weak, almost dead. - the bin in the kitchen under the sink: its open mechanism is broken (the string is cut). - the bedroom wardrobe has many missing handles. - A decorative (Japanese?) bowl is broken, and was left in the middle of the books. Dangerous with children. - The bathroom sink is clogged. After we mentioned some of these points to the host, they sent a handyman pretty fast (the next day). He didn't fix anything but the blackout curtain (which then was missing the string to roll it, and eventually fell a couple of times). He said he would come back, but we didn't hear back from him afterwards...
The location is great and the general layout of the apartment is good.
