Not much negative to say. The fencing around the outdoor area maybe isn't the nicest and some decor a bit tired, but thought the hotel was very good for the price/ 3 star hotel category.

Friendly, clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor pool and seating areas. Little playground and small pool are good for young children. Short walk to bus stop, supermarket and lido. Breakfast and dinner buffets had good variety.

our initial allocation of room was not good. right at the back, no view, old interior and gloomy. we asked for a room as pictured on booking.com which we were moved to after one night.

nice bright room with modernised interior. fab sea view. two balconies to use. nice kitchenette and dining area. lounge area too.

only one lift workin and the other broke down while we there was fixed that day though the level that the pool was on seemed to smell it look like the drainage vents were on that level

wifi is extremely poor so if you need to work better book a studio on the 3rd floor. bathroom had moldiness, but overall rooms were clean.

Overall, no negatives that I can think of.

The 1 bed apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely sea view. Shower was very good and wifi also good. I particularly liked the location of the hotel - it was out of the centre and was quiet yet you could still use the bus or walk into the centre which was really nice with lots of historical buildings together with a good selection of shops. Staff in the hotel were very helpful, breakfast was very nice and had enough variation each morning not to get bored. The evening meal was very good value inn comparison to eating out in the nearby restaurants but not such a great choice if you are a fussy eater. Thanks chef for the very tasty potatoes! Overall, a great experience and I would stay here again if I was back in Madeira.

Corridors are not very welcoming. Beds are a little hard but to be fair this is personal preference and I didn’t ask for a mattress topper.

This hotel has a good feel to it, great value. Excellent facilities with a lovely terrace. Renovated rooms. Nice staff that try hard. Good breakfast. It’s a good hotel in the 3* category.

Breakfast was average. (understandable with so many guests and price). Common corridors were oldschool.

Rooms were fine - bed was comfortable. There was also, chance to prepare your own meal. Swimming pool area kept in good order.

We had dinner most nights at the hotel. Just wish they would cater more for vegetarians and make the signs a bit more clear or put the right signs on food.

The location is great , walking distance to town , central to many restaurants and shops. The hotel might not be the most modern or posh but the staff were lovely , it was clean and spacious and we had everything we needed.

We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel and found it super expensive! After being advised by a friendly Madeirense that Aerobus is available for a fraction of the price, we ended up taking the Aerobus on our outgoing flight. The Aerobus has two stops within walking distance from the hotel. Super convenient.

This was one of those "lets pick this one because it fits into our budget and like the pictures". We were really surprised by how clean the facility was. Check in and check very simple. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. I especially liked the abundance of vegetable and fruits.
