Room was small and a little cramped with the furniture choices. There really isn't any option for vegan or variations for vegetarians on the dinner menu.

An absolutely fantastic hotel. Located on the beach. Friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous outdoor pool and nice little cafe to avail of during the day.

Room for improvement but not a bad experience in the end: Pool access should be included, just for a higher booking price but not separately, also SPA availability at least made possible to be checked ahead, online booking would be a big improvement

The hotel could do with a bit of renovation. Got a nice 90s vibe of it. But still I loved the place.

The only thing I would have liked to have different is to possibly have the choice to order the dinner as an a la cart menu so that we could have ordered (and paid for) only certain food for dinner.

A hotel right at the beach. And they were very helpful to switch our rooms once we realised that it was too close to the road and many motorcyclist visiting the island that week. It was just unfortunate because otherwise it's usually very quiet. They have a bar right at the beach, it was our second time.

Laundry service is quite expensive

Very nice parc, with access to the beach and a cosy beach bar. Our room was cleaned perfectly each morning. Free mini golf and friendly staff.

Breakfast was untasty as mentioned in the other comments, eggs always undone, nothing special, suggest drinking Coffee from the jar but not from the machine. There is no kettle in the room, no hair dryer, no complimentary water.

The spa facilities need to be booked at an additional cost also for hotel guests.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The location by the ocean was stunning. There was a lot of choice for breakfast. It is possible to play table tennis and minigolf, and there was a reading room with books in many languages. The pool looked very nice but the water was still too cold at this time of the year (March).

The location of the hotel is good. It sits right on the beach but is a good 20 minute walk from the city centre. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Due to an unexpected turn in the weather, we were advised that our return ferry to Funchal, the following day, was cancelled. So we made the decision to leave that day and so in fact, did not stay in the hotel overnight. Our impressions were, that it was very good value for money. It is not luxurious, by any means but was clean, bright and cheap!

There’s no elevator to the second floor (we don’t care but someone with reduce mobility should be aware), the gym was free and has one machine of everything but it was kind of oxidised.

I love the building, it’s from the 60’s, it’s near the town, the breakfast it’s diverse (classic continental), the pool was cool, the bedroom was super comfortable and the girl from the reception gave us super good restaurants recommendations.

Nice rooms and very good breakfast. Very nice garden with the pool and direct access to amazing beach, which stretches for a good part of this tiny island. Hotel also provides nice beanch bar, which is accessible only for hotel guests. We didn't visit the spa.

The hotel needs substantial renovations to keep the quality expected standards of a 4 star hotel. Jacuzzi and internal pools are not free. .

Well built hotel with only 2 floors and low environmental impact. Nice staff. Good breakfast Great position with a nice garden and beach next to it.
