No milk had to ask for it. Milk bottle was empty. No bread for toasting. Had to ask for it. Then it was brought to the toasting area and the other guests got there first. Ask again for bread and was told there was not any bread left. For a hotel to run out of bread is very poor.

Very poor indeed. Not worth getting up for.

Location, you have to climb a bit, especially at night when the taxis down are not available. And the hotel doors close at 23:00 so you have to manage your time to come back in time.

The view is fantastic and staff very friendly. Excellent parking facility and within walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was good and gòd variety.

Regarding breakfast, there is room for improvement. A wider variety of high-quality products would enhance the overall experience. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the air conditioning is centrally controlled, limiting individual adjustments within the rooms.

The hotel is conveniently located in Pinhão, making it an ideal choice for guests with a car. However, for those without a car, I recommend considering other accommodations.

Our host was welcoming, attentive and was very helpful suggesting things to do and see in town. The view from our room was delightful, the breakfast and breakfast staff were great and the hotel itself was lovely and relaxing to be around.

Modern and central, clever parking and great breakfast

This is a very steep walk from the town and it’s impossible to get a taxi. Pre book a taxi if you need one. A lot of people would struggle with the elevation / incline. The breakfast was very basic, very small selection of a few cooked bits, all the rest laid out on a small table. Didn’t try the restaurant which is down in the town (separate to where have breakfast on the hotel) as there’s nicer places and you don’t get anything extra for being a guest of the hotel.

The balcony was lovely (bigger than the room). The pool looked great but was not heated so we didn’t use. The views are beautiful but as we were out all day we didn’t really get to enjoy them as was too dark at the end of the day. The hotel was clean and good shower. Would stay again if had a car and driving through. But that still doesn’t help with getting back in the evening and after port tasting so would give up the view and stay down in the town or by the by water - views just as nice down there.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We had a very easy and lovely stay at LBV. We arrived early by car and were able to drive straight into the parking garage, head out for the day and come back later in the night to properly check in - this made it really easy. The room was nice for what we needed and the property was lovely!

Lovely hotel right at the top of the hill overlooking the river and village. A little difficult to walk to with luggage however easy enough to catch a taxi for the short but steep ride. Staff were lovely, pool area was great for afternoon relaxing with a drink from the bar, no restaurant on site but again, a short, steep walk down into town was easy.

Clean quiet. Really friendly staffs. 10 minute walk to village of Pinhao but you would need to get taxi back as it’s on a steep hill. Private car park. Lovely swimming pool. Every room has a balcony Great value for money. They don’t serve food other than light breakfast

Unfortunately we were in the only room without a view. And our shower leaked. It’s also a trek to get here. I would recommended leaving large luggage at home.

The hotel is beautiful. I wish we could’ve spent more than one night here. Modern, clean, friendly staff.

We liked everything about this hotel. We walked down the hill and back for lunch and dinner to limit the number of times we drove the narrow winding road. The road isn't that bad, but we like to walk.. The walk to town is pretty steep and might not be suitable for everyone.

Rui was awesome. Breakfast and staff were great. We loved the pool and views from our room. Very clean.
