If we stayed there again we would probably book a sea view apartment so we wouldn't have the noise from the restaurant below which impacted using the terrace. Also the umbrellas from the restaurant spoiled the view from the balcony.

We had a sea front apartment which in theory was perfect and the view was amazing apart from it being over the tops of the restaurant umbrellas. Having said that it was good being so close to said restaurants.

The bed settee was not comfortable for seating.

It was good to be back in Luz, known to us for forty years. We loved to be walking on the beach, although the weather while we stayed did not encourage us to swim. we could see the beach from the balcony. It was good to have access to a range of TV programmes in English, and also to the library.

The only thing that was an issue initially was the musty smell the apartment had when I first checked in, but after having the doors and windows open for a bit, the smell went away. It would be nice to have a mini-split upstairs for AC when it's too hot out to have the balcony door and window open.

I had a beachfront unit that had a small balcony with a great view of the beach and the rainbow hills in the distance. The sunsets were amazing! It's a two story unit with a spiral staircase to the large bedroom and bathroom in the lower level where there is a wall mounted mini-split for AC/heat. There is another outdoor patio area off the bedroom that has a table for dining, lounge chairs and drying racks to hang wet beach clothes and towels. I was really impressed with the little kitchen and how it was stocked with pots, pans, a variety of utensils, bakeware, juicer, Nespresso maker, hot pot, etc. The upstairs had comfy living room furniture, dining set and TV. They also provide beach umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards. There are a couple grocery stores within a 15-20 minute walk, as well as a variety of restaurants/bars.The staff is very friendly and hands-on and are available during business hours to assist with any questions, etc. There is plenty of free parking in front of the apartments and on the street. I would stay here again for sure.

Master is on one floor and the kids were upstairs. Fine for us, but a little bit of a concern for our grandchildren because of how steep the stairs are separating each floor.

The location can’t be beat and the staff made every effort to help us. I worried about booking activities through the hotel because I’m a “deal finder,” but they booked appointments that didn’t show available online and at a discount.

Nothing, genuinely exceeded my expectations

The location was perfect. The balcony was overlooking the sandy beach and had relaxers and a couple of chairs on it. The bed was large and comfortable and the kitchen area was surprisingly well equipped. Lots of little details had been thought about, like complimentary parasols, beach chairs and kids outdoor toys that you could take with you on to the beach. There is also an array of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend this place!

We loved everything about Luz Beach Apartments! The view and location are amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The apartments are really clean and well taken care of. They have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The price is great for how wonderful the place is. We would definitely want to stay here again.

We had trouble getting a good connection with the wifi for zoom or facetime... it would freeze and disconnect.
