Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe first few days we stayed in the lower part of the building , I understand the building is under renovation, the room had 2 single beds which we’re comfortable, the furniture was tired and and not modernized, we almost changed our reservation for the second few days on our way back to Lisbon, we decided to stay again as it was our fourth visit to the hotel, upon arrival I asked if we could upgrade to a larger room and to our surprise we were pleasantly surprised as the top floor was fully renovated and was beautiful. We will return and will request that room we stayed it, over and over again. Good luck with all your renovations, looking forward to visiting beautiful Lisbon again🌸in the future.

Central location and reasonable staff who were helpful if you wait. Comfy bed and good facilities. Good soundproofing. Only stayed one night so perfect for what we needed. They had a fridge and safe and tv but we had no use for these. Good views but scarey balcony due to being high up and windy.

Very good location, 5 minutes from Bairro Alto, centrum 10 minutes. Bed was comfortable, fridge, tv. Nice view. Clean bathroom, fresh towels every day. Breakfast good, fresh bread and croissant. They allowed to leave there our luggage after checking out, because we flew home in the evening.

SerbiaOur big bad was 2 small bads that were separating all the time. Water in the toilet was very complicated, sometimes there was no any, sometimes there was, but the pressure was low and most of the time we needed to wait 10 minutes for the hot water. Breakfast was quite poor.
Location is perfect, room was very nice, renovated and big. We were on the 5th floor, so the view was amazing. Extra charge for breakfast was quite cheap, and stuff was friendly.

The person who was at the front desk when we arrived was really friendly, though he insisted on a thorough, slow and complete explanation of details even though my wife explained we were waiting for her in the car and only staying one night. The views from the top room were panoramic and cool.

LithuaniaBreakfast is really very basic. You get limited amount of food. For me it was fine but others might consider it as too little. The bathroom could be upgraded. It was really very small space. For me it was not a problem, but my colleague was not satisfied with that. The shower area was also very tinny. In night it was a bit cold and I took blanket. But it seems that there was some sand leftovers from somewhere in it. So I was sleeping with extra sand in bed :D. There was no shelves to put things on. Only drawers. It was still fine for short stay when you don't need to fully unpack or have not too many things.
It was interesting experience as rooms looked like a bit historical. There was nice decorations. We didn't have any noise from other rooms or corridor. The personnel was nice and also flexible when providing some documents that I had to deliver as it was business trip. Breakfast was with really nice view.
