There were some minor inconveniences through our stay. The internet went down couple of times, but was promptly restored by the owner. We booked this place because it had fireplace (we thought we could enjoy in the evening) wasn’t allowed to use due the fact that there were painting works done on the house. The workers were in the our yard during daytime with access to the house while we were out. The most terrifying thing was that the heavy painting that was hanging on the wall in the bedroom fell down on the pillows (thankfully while we were out and not in our sleep).

A little bit overpriced

Very beautiful outdoors, everything you need inside, lots of space, easy to get there, in almost direct vicinity of the centre of vila franca do campo. We had 2h30 delay with our plane & arrived well past the arrival time that was agreed, but it was no problem for Pedro to wait: many thanks!

There could have been a little more facility. 2 sunbeds would be nice since it’s an accommodation for 2 people. Jacuzzi was unfortunately not open.

Located quiet but still central. Therefore perfect to recharge your batteries and start well strengthened in ventures throughout the island. Daily opened supermarket just around the corner. Good restaurants nearby. Very friendly host that is always available if there are any questions.

Nothing much!

Location is excellent. Set in the hill of a very peaceful town, with a view of the ocean and only a short and enjoyable drive from a few key locations such as Furnas and Lagoa do Fogo. The drive to and from airport is also very easy and less than 30min. For those who like to cook at home, the kitchen is very well equipped and there is a very big supermarket (Pingo Doce Vila Franca do Campo). Owner is great, very responsive and friendly. Apartment is very spacious and cozy. We felt at home.

For us the place could have a bit more light: a bit stronger lightbulbs in the sleeping room, bathroom and above the sink would help!

The property is poorly maintained & there's a lot of problems with it. Examples are as follows; 1. The toilet lid has various yellow urine stains all over it from being old and no longer water proof. It's a poor stain on the eyes so to speak & not fitting for accommodation above 1* 2. The light fittings on the ceiling are partially detached and an eye sore- it looks like it needs repair however, has not been so for a long time 3. There are only a few lights throughout the place & is dimly lit at best so if you're planning on reading or not strainging your eyes at night, don't stay here 4. There are not enough power outlets throughout the place, with only x 1 in the living room being utilised for all our phones, cameras and laptops alike. Note, there is another x 1 in each room however, they are not next to nor near the beds. 5. The garden walls are covered in holes, surface falling off and green mold 6. The interior walls are all decrepit and disintegrating throughout the property, especially in the lower areas 7. There property is warmer inside than it is outside & you can't have the windows open with any kind of breeze outside as the blinds then rattle and hit against the windows, causing a lot of noise and disturbance at night. This is the same in every room throughout the property, it hasn't been thought out well. 8. There's no dishwasher nor oven & so you're relatively limited to boiling/frying/microwaving food (not too bad of course) 9. There's no service & after a week, change your towels. During this time, I thought they might also clean the place however, they didn't. The gentleman who welcomed us there on the first day was only seen for that 5 minutes and not again.

Nice location, nice views & with x 2 young children, the property had a lot of space to it which was warmly welcome. It's close to Villa do Campo yet not within the village- just up from the outskirts of it.

Car park can be a bit tricky for bigger cars. However, there should be no issues if everyone parks in the allocated space.

Great, spacious apartment with a great terrace and an amazing view! Location is very good and the closest supermarket is only about 3-4 min drive away. The host was very nice and accommodating when we had to change our check-in time last minute.

We loved this tranquil place in the middle of the nature, yet super close to the next village and with easy access to the rest of the island. The apartment is very spacious and has all the basic amenities. Great extra is has a little private garden with the most amazing view! The host Pedro was also very welcoming.

Lacks basic comfort: no sofa, very small tv, uncomfortable bed, no window blinds (only a curtain that doesn't cover the door sized windows), inside lighting is very bad, no hangers at the entrance (if it's raining you only have them in the sleeping room and you get the place all wet), bad WiFi, no shower soaps, lack of towels (and no place to get the only ones you have to properly dry), no outside lights (this is very important, particularly near the parking, where there is a huge gap that is not signaled and it is very dangerous as you can fall very easily - it's right next to the entrance gate and where you get out of the car - or even get your car in the gap as there is no physical barrier). For the demanded price you can easily get a 5 star hotel (at least for the time we went to visit the island)

Quiet place, but you can hear pretty clearly the upstairs guests. Renewed place. Good accesses to the west and east of the island.

Hot tub Did not work So it was not really a spa. Technical issues with The Bathroom Wich were not resolved during our stay. There is not enough lighting And The buildings Are really dark.

Everything was perfect.
