Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Breakfast is a bag with sandwiches, milk, cereals some juice. Small and nice :) There are two bathrooms on each floor, we stayed there for 4days and never had a problem with availibility.

Switzerland- no real window in the room (a tiny one in the corner), only super bright lights (no bedside lamp for reading or something) - very bad smell in the bathroom, plus when someone smokes outside, the ventilation takes the bad air right into the shower - no hooks in the shower, should I put my clothes on the dirty floor? - place is generally in a pretty run down state (or never was nice to begin with) - check in: you have to check in in downtown lagos, which is 15’ away by car, which is just annoying. There’s only a 3 hr window from 4-7 to check in, otherwise you pay a fee almost the price of a night’s stay?!
bed looked like it was about to fall apart but was actually comfortable.

RomaniaDirty walls / doors / bathrooms / sheets and towels. The key was from the wrong door. The breakfast was mediocre, not what you see in photos but just a bag with some stuff from grocery store (the only reason I didn't give 1 rating). On phone nobody answered for more than 2 hours even if they have a check-in desk. Check-in is not made at location but in Lagos and you have to pay 20E extra if you check-in after 7PM. The last annoying thing, they constantly reminded us we have to check-out before 10AM.

United KingdomPhotos are not true representation! You have to drive to another town to collect keys in a short time slot given by the company. On arrival, broken toilet flush, broken WC seat, broken bathroom door lock so one out of two bathrooms could not be used, one hot tub was broken and the other was full of green water. Dirty walls and doors. Dirty cloth left on our table and dirty towels on our bed. Derelict building site next door which left building debris all over guests towels. Breakfast was awful, dry roll, off yoghurt, hard fruit and cereal. Very basic facilities. Not worth the money and we don't recommend to anyone!
Not even one positive aspects, horrible place in every single bit. Oh sorry, water was hot enough and have good pressure, that's all.

We could not stay in the property and when asked for a resolution the landlord never got back to me. Also booking customer service was unable to manage this issue with the landlord.

RomaniaThe check in procedure is awkward. We were asked to go to another city (between 4-7PM) in order to get the room key. There is nobody to help you at the location. We did not get any info about where we can have the breakfast that we reserved with the room. Unpleasant smells immediately after entering the building. Our room had a very strong moldy smell. The inside of the room door had mold growing on it. If you want to air the room (no 3), be advised that you will have a barbecue and a place where people gather to socialize, just in front of your window.
The kitchen is well equipped and organized. They came and cleaned the bathroom over the day.
