You get what you pay for, facilities are basic but clean and comfortable. Wi-fi is poor.

Foom was small and needed updating. Had trouble finding the hotel originally because entry was a single door at street level and then upstairs to office.

Location is the reason we chose this hotel. It is ideally located in the city of Porto...........close to train station, shopping, and attractions. Staff spoke English and were helpful with advice. TV had many channels and a lot of English channels.

Ground floor room, next to reception, with little light and views over a drab interior courtyard, Bathroom fittings were ill-designed and there was a lack of surface space in the bathroom.

The hotel looks little bit old. In our room was mold on the ceiling. There was only one small trash bin in room for 4 persons (it was in bathroom). The room was not have much furniture, just one chair

Basic and not cheap.

It was was central and the staff were extremely helpful. However it was basic for the price.

The breakfast offering was minimal but adequate. There were paper cups in the bathroom the first night, but housekeeping did not replace these the next few days we were there and we had to ask for more. Bring your own kettle as the room did not have one. There is also no fridge in the room. It was very hot so the aircon was on most of the time. There was no drainage for the aircon pipe except across the balcony floor making the tiles slippery and precarious. It is not suggested for people with disabilities as there is a steep flight of stairs to ascend before reaching the elevator on the first floor. The shower is in the bath and not suitable for tall people.

The hotel receptionst was super friendly and very helpful. Armingo was in charge of breakfast and he did a great job on his own accommodating several diners at the same time. The hotel is well-positioned and very convenient.

In the bathroom, the ceiling above the shower wasn't clean.

The main advantage is its location in the center of Porto, with a walking distance to all its main attractions. Good breakfasts at low price, and a possibility to rent a parking place just around a corner. No advance payments.

Hotel had some faded grandeur about it. A loose screw here, a broken tile there. The addition of a handyman/women to the team could restore some of the lost glory.

Staff were all excellent and the location superb. Book a room at the front with a balcony on the street. 502 is the one to ask for.

Everything was pretty worn and the amenities were sparse- no extra TP in the room, for example (we ran out!)
