Amazing location, really romantic, quiet and surrounded by nature and it’s sounds, but close to everything else … Stunning view to Mount Pico and the ocean. Philippe, the owner is a very good host and helps where he can. Basic equipment including a washing machine!

The host was very welcoming and gave us a lot of useful tips for our trip. The location and view were stunning looking straight at Pico mountain! It was great to seat outside at the balcony and enjoy the view with a glass of wine and some cheese! We were also offered bread, milk and a homemade banana jam for breakfast which was perfect. We would stay here again if we return to Sao Jorge!

The place badly need to be fixed. The bathroom especially. The shower has wooden walls like the were put there to cover something on the wall. The overall cleaness is quite bad. Potentially great but a lot of maintenanche is required.

The position is beautiful right in the beach. The idea of independent houses is good.

We had a superb light, bright unit - one of the ones higher up at the back that have views of the mountains, the vineyard and ocean. The owner is really friendly, but very busy running the place, so catch him when you can for local info. He keeps the place rustic and charming and it feels peaceful and private. The property is well placed in the middle of the island for all the sights and a handful of nearby restaurants do good local food. We sadly had a lot of bad weather but the big view at least meant we could watch the drama unfold! The airport is very close by if you are flying. To sum up: a lovely rural place to stay and great value too.

As being a bungalow, one should expect to be open-minded and find a simple accomodation. Some humidity spots on the walls, old curtains and spiders in the corners won't ruin the experience, so just be flexible and enjoy, it's nature :)

The bungalow was in the middle of nature, where you could enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, hearing the birds and seeing the stars at night. Felipe has always been super friendly and helpful, welcoming us with a basket of bread, butter, milk and jam. Coffee capsules were available as well. We will totally come back!

They picked us in Velas free of charge and we rented their car (45€/day). We had full flexibility by returning the car the last day in the airport. They also left some free breakfast as a welcome gift.

The bathroom needs some work and things were falling apart.

The best part of this place is the view. I was lucky that my last night coincided with the full blue moon and it was a dream to see it rise on the horizon on top of the calm ocean. The chalet was spacious, the bed confortable and Filipe gave me a basket with bread, other goodies and home made banana jam, which was delicious. Felipe was very kind and drove me to the airport. I love staying there and would love to go back!

The view is magnificent, the bungalow has a great balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the view of the sea and Pico across. Always changing! Just below the property there is a trail (in fact it is cemented, so good for biking or baby trolleys) that leads to spots for swimming. The bungalows are not close to each other, so there is privacy and it is very quiet. It is also very well located, the main road across the island is on the property entrance, so easy to go anywhere. The owner was really nice, and gave us a lot of support. And there was a lovely welcome basket with bread, homemade jam, coffee, milk, great for breakfast!

There wasn't any closet or wardrobe, it would be nice if there was one. We managed to pile our clothes on a small shelf with a hanging rack, but it wasn't enough for a longer stay. The flush in the toilet had such bad pressure we had to use a pot of water to flush :) But Filipe told us the renovations were just about to begin!

We had such a great time at Intact Farm Resort! The house we got was at the very bottom of the hill, so we had an unobstructed view of the garden and Pico island with its glorious volcano. Eating breakfast on the terrace or enjoying some wine and Sao Jorge cheese in the evening was a blast. There is nobody around but a few guests and the owners, no sounds other than those made by nature. Cagarros singing every night at sundown were something absolutely unique. We felt like we'd been transported to another universe of quietness and bliss. The house itself was OK, nothing too fancy but nothing we missed also. We had a comfy couch with a soft blanket, a TV, a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Anything esle we needed (like a haidryer) was delivered right away. Filipe the owner was a wonderful host, he picked us up at the ferry station, gave us a map with great recommendations about how to plan our stay on Sao Jorge and where to eat, let us borrow his car (which had no problems climbing the steep hill to the main road), let us try the wine he's making (very good!), and even tried to arrange a boat trip to the nearest caves (unfortunately the weather got in the way). And I didn't even mention the breakfast basket he gave us, which was filled with bread, butter, amazing homemade banana jam, cheese from the island and milk and coffee. The communication was good, and we felt great.

Two small things. We never met anyone from the resort only spoke my phone and the TV did not work. connector did not fit. we were in unit one. wanted to watch a movie one night- but no big deal, we read instead

The place could use some maintenance, and some storage room. The shower did not really work properly and there were no mosquito nets in the windows.

The location was really great. Don’t trust the adress information on booking though and look it up on google (we drove the wrong way) or use coordinates provided by the host. The view is amazing, and you really have some privacy. We really loved spending time on the terras, either for a sunrise view at breakfast or a sunset/moon view at dinner in the evening. The place is very cosy and service is excellent. Breakfast is taken care off everyday, and they even provide tablets for using the washing machine!

The kitchen equipment is minimal, e.g. a toaster and a kettle would be good. And unfortunately there’s basically no shade on the wonderful terrace — so actually you can only use it in the evening.

The surroundings and the views are amazing! It’s all very relaxed and Felipe is doing a great job as a host (you get fresh rolls and coffee capsules in the morning, sometimes cheese, eggs, …). The bungalows as such are nice but get quite hot during the day and really need a bit more care and a better eye for details. But I definitely would come again!
