How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sometimes got pretty humid
Great location, great clean, modern space with kitchen. Wifi worked amazingly. Laundry facilities and drying racks available. Nespresso machine provided in room, as well as OJ, Milk, and fresh bread. As other reviews mentioned - parking in the free lot just north is easy AS LONG AS you are not trying to find a spot in the middle of a workday. But if you are arriving back in Ponta Delgada in the evening for dinner, there will always be room.

Clean, well stocked, Reem, orange juice and other small amenities as an added bonus. I blew a socket and it was fixed the very next day. Quiet street, plenty of parking and close to the main Center. Thank you!
Host Claudio was very friendly and accommodating. Soon as we arrived, he greeted and provided us with the details for fine eating establishments, best places to visit and , had a great sense of humour.

Shower could use a glass door that covers the open space completely and there was no clothes dryer on site. Although everything else was perfect so no big deal overall great space.
Claudio the manager was very helpful with all requests. The location is perfect for walking and seeing the city sights. The architecture was very well thought out, modern and zen like . Large sound proof windows quiet for sleeping and viewing the night sky. We would return!

Just that we had no Nespresso capsules available for coffee

Absolutely loved our stay in Ponta Delgada! The apartment was fantastic. Spacious, clean, and wellequipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was excellent, and they were incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. Claudio and Paulo provided phenomenal attention to detail, and we extended our stay to experience another one of their properties, which was also great.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about this place.
The place was beautiful!! Very nicely designed and everything was comfortable and clean. You can tell there was effort to make the place nice with high quality. The staff were exceptional, kind, and professional. Services offered were like a hotel: cleaning everyday, new towels, and they even gave us nice local bread and treats. The location is wonderful is well. We really loved our stay there and hope to be back someday.

Everything was stunning – the apartment, service, facilities, location. And without any doubt, a lot of luxury hotels worldwide (once again – WORLDWIDE) must send their stuff there to learn how to treat their customers. Paulo is a professional – he knows how to maintain successful business and to make guests satisfied with their stay.

All perfect.
Excellent place. We were in room 3A: it is an apartment with large rooms. Santa Clara is right down in the center of Ponta Delgada, close to all the interesting places in town. Recommended to rent a car to move on the island. The personnel in Santa Clara were very kind - to receive us was Margarita (she provided all the interesting tourist information and waited for us to arrive on a late flight from Lisbon on Saturday); and two ladies one called Sonia, who even helped us wash our clothes and took care of putting them in our room to dry them out. They leave you special tasty products of the Azores every day. The place is spotlessly clean and quiet (no noise from the streets or the other apartments). The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for families when you need sometimes to cook or prepare food for the day :-) Excellent money-for-value.

Very comfortable, clean, modern, large bathroom with good shower. We appreciated the complementary wine, coffee etc. The location was close to the centre with a good free car park one minute away. The guy at the reception was very helpful, gave us lots of good information and was responsive to messages.

Note: door handle to bathroom is broken, no elevator, no paper towels
The space was enormous. I was in 3A and it was 2 bedrooms over 1400 square ft. There was a dishwasher, milk, water, juice, and it was very clean. On the last evening, the host left us a gift. I would highly recommend renting a car. And going to the hot springs and the Ribeiro waterfall. Jardim Natural Food and Coffee was excellent for breakfast.
