The bugs at night crawling through the floor. However, understood the house is located in a state park so it really didn’t bother us. Patricia provided comfortable sleepers.

Patricia accommodated a very smooth check in and check out. The house was very Clean, comfortable beds, and the accommodation of two bathrooms was a plus for us. She supplied all the essentials necessities. The house location is in city center but tucked in a private location and is very quiet. You can see the castle from the window up in the mountain. In addition, Every time we arrived 2 cute dogs greeted us. But they were quiet at night. We’re dog lovers so it didn’t bother us. They only barked when they saw people. I already recommend this place to some people asking about our experience. It was great!!!!

The ONLY thing that I would add would be some non-slip mats outside the shower cubicals. The floor throughout the property looks stunning and chic but is very very slippy when wet, I slipped and hit my knee very hard on the glass. There are some towels provided for the floor which is great but I think something with better grip would be safer.

Incredible design, every comfort needed to feel home from home. Very very clean and wonderful welcome gifts from a kind host. I want to go back to Sintra just to stay at Sparrow nest again!

Sintra and its surroundings are located in the mountains. The historical center and many destinations may be difficult for people with physical disabilities, even if the transportation to them is mostly ok.

The rooms where even nicer than in the pictures of the owner. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. Also the beds where very comfy: My friend who cannot sleep anywhere slept like a log :) . The house was totally silent, and yet there was only 10 minutes walk to the historic center of Sintra. And a word about Sintra: Don't stay just for a day. We stayed for 4 nights, and didn't have one dull moment. There is so much to explore in and around even within walking distance.

Kitchenette could use some small conveniences, like salt, pepper, olive oil, etc.

Just down the hill from the train station. Spacious. Kids had their own wing and two doors blocking it off, allowing us to stay up later and wake up earlier without disturbing them.

This place was amazing, private and beautiful! Would definitely come back. The host was so incredibly helpful and wonderful. The villa was so nice and clean. It felt truly welcoming. They knew we had children so they added a bunch of things needed like a high chair and bathtub plus a play pen with bedding. One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed at.

One of the showers didn't work/had very poor pressure, but this was communicated ahead of time and was largely a non-issue as there are 2 showers & the second one worked perfectly.

The perfect accommodation for our Sintra trip - we all wished we could have stayed for so much longer! Beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, very convenient location (3 minutes from the Train station & near a few shops/restaurants) and check-in/out was nice and easy. Honestly could not recommend more, I know that my Mum & Step-Dad are already keen to visit again!

Sintra Sparrow Nest is very well located in the heart of Sintra and close to most sightseeing places in the region. There are many shops and restaurants nearby the property (walking distance) which offer everything for covering daily needs. The property is ideal for 4 people (e.g. families) and is very well maintained, clean and quiet. Communication with the host was easy, responsive and quick. Handover of keys (key safe) was very convenient.

Water pressure in front shower was iffy but we had better luck the second day.

Cute courtyard with hammock. Looked just like the pictures. Great layout for a family of five, with two in each bedroom and one on the sofa bed - we liked that there was a door to close for the person sleeping in the living room. Quick and helpful responses from the host. Easy, no contact check-in and check-out. Great robes! The location was very convenient and directions provided were detailed and accurate. We chose the closer parking lot, which was about 22 Euros per night.

Loved the fact it has two bathrooms and the sitting area is great when you have a group. Outdoor patio was nice and I wish it had been warmer for us to have enjoyed. Close to everything you need.
