I think I read that the hotel had benches on the beach, but they didn't have them - only by the hotel pool. That would have been nice to have (because there is no shade on the beach). But you can rent them. And chairs on the room balcony are those cheap plastic chairs - I would have loved something more comfortable.

What I liked most: bed - it was huge! And comfortable; the silence - housekeeping wasn't banging about early morning; food - 4 kinds of fish every night for dinner (there was different meat as well, but I really appreciated fish choices), lots of vegetables and great vegan food (I am not vegan, but that was delicious); then the "late riser breakfast" - you can still get some food even if you're late for official breakfast (special love for this!); gym - great, clean, spacious and climatized; activities - from yoga/pilates to language courses; and staff - not a single person that wasn't super nice. Beach nearby is fantastic!

The hot food for lunch and dinner could've been of a better quality and often over cooked. Entertainment in the evening could've been better accommodated for the English speaking audience, i.e. too many Portuguese songs and performers. Afternoon disco was too self indulgent by the DJ. Pianist, violinist etc were far better. We felt that the hotel was built on a high peninsular and was the possible reason we suffered from very strong winds every day of our stay in mid May.

Hotel & all Staff were excellent and very accommodating. It was very clean everywhere, plenty of sunbeds & a good size pool. The afternoon entertainment in general was very good. Our room was spacious, with tea & coffee making facilities and a regular supply of bottled water. It had a fantastic bed, two easy chairs & a reasonably size balcony with table and chairs. Restaurant busy but always tables available inside and out. A wide choice of food, salads and cold counter tended to be a better choice. The rock duo in the evening were fantastic & enjoyed by everyone in the audience. A la restaurant was also very good

Some staff not too cooperative when I left my jacket in the dining room and was trying to find it 5 mins after they closed. But a more senior staff person took action and acted very well.

We didn’t receive additional tea or milk in our room and we would have liked more information about the restaurants etc. For example we would have liked to have eaten in the a la cart restaurant by the pool but it was only open the first night of our stay and we didn’t know it would be closed for the remainder

Nothing - didn't like that we had to leave.....

There is absolutely nothing bad and nothing for us to complain about. The staff, room, breakfast, lunch, dinner, pool were all exceptional. Keep doing what you are doing. First time we ever experienced a hotel, where everything was just perfect, every single staff member were so friendly, helpful and mannerly and hotel itself, on the whole, just superb.

We were a late arrival, the hotel had prepared dinner for us even though it was after 10pm, a very nice touch considering we had been traveling all day. The breakfast buffet and evening buffet were amazing, a huge variety offered at each sitting. The hotel was immaculate and staff were amazing. Highly recommend!

Being very honest me and my partner personally didn’t find comfort in the bed and pillows. But as I said it’s a personal opinion!

The hotel had amazing views, lovely staff, and top notch service! The breakfast gave many options of foods… and all necessary services were provided.
