The room was very good but the view across the valley was spoilt by a large tree right outside.

Excellent breakfast made with produce grown on the farm. Antonio and his son Daniel were great and helpful hosts.

A nice house in the hills, not far from Lagos and the west coast. A quiet place to relax. Nature pure. Antonio and his son Daniel are really friendly and always very helpful. Very nice room with a really comfortable kingsize bed. The breakfast was more than perfect. Different good restaurants for dinner not more than 15 min. by car.

A bit of a challenge to find and you have to drive along winding roads up and down the mountain but you get used to it.

The guest house has 6 rooms which are excellently and ecologically designed with modern amenities. Set amidst an organic farm with fruit trees, chickens and 2 donkeys, it was quiet and peaceful yet in close proximity to the beaches and commercial areas of Algarve.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Appartement surrounded by the calm nature. Also Antonio and Daniel were so welcoming and nice! The breakfast was a blast, we could enjoy freshly homemade yogurt and fruits from the garden and much more local treats. We also made a hike in Monchique and enjoyed the mountains and Caldas de Monchique. All in all it was a blast!

Cozy agro/eco Quinta; very quiet, clean, comfortable, surrounded by orchards, donkeys, chickens with a magnificent view towards Portimão and Lagos. An escape from the busy tourist towns in the Algarve yet only a 30-40 min drive away. Perfect place to hike, bike and just relax on your private patio or in the spacious living areas. Our host Antonio is delightful and made us feel right at home. (See photo with one of his solar ovens). He served fruits from the garden, homemade yoghurt, jams, savory sauces and has a big pizza oven on the property. We will definitely return!

Nothing not to like

Hosts Antonio and Daniel were very friendly and welcoming. Pizza night was a bonus got to meet lots of lovely people. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, freshey cooked eggs and homemade cakes. We had a very comfortable bed and the room was nice and dark so great for a good night's sleep. The location was peaceful with amazing views. The building itself was very tasteful and finished beautifully.

I really loved this place in the beautiful area of Monchique, with an amazing view over the lush mountains until the ocean. The perfect spot to step out of your daily routine and enjoy nature and peace. I travelled alone and it was perfect, I met the very friendly hosts Antonio, Claudia and Daniel. I especially fell in love with their two donkeys, which are beautiful creatures. Thanks again for making my stay so comfortable - we will definitely come back :)

We liked everything there! Starting with a friendly host meeting us outside of the property, to modern and comfortable rooms with amazing views. The location is perfect- moderate driving distance to the beaches, but tranquil and relxing for those looking to escape from city. The host Antonio was super nice and welcoming- he showed us around his property, let us taste his apples and berries straight from the trees and even let our 2 year old son feed the donkeys and play with chickens!!

We have to park on a gravel parking space a bit far from the front door on our second night as all the parking lots are taken. That makes check out the next day slightly more difficult as we have quite a lot of big luggages.

Great stay, Antonio is a friendly host. The B&B is designed by the host's wife who is an architect, with views over the sea. Most impressive is that the entire property is step-free, good for wheelchair and big luggages. That is helpful for us as we brought bikes to cycle to Foia. Highlight of the breakfast is homemade jams, sweet melon and fresh fig Antonio just picked.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Antonio and Daniel are such down to earth, welcoming hosts with incredible knowledge of the land and homesteading. The breakfast was amazing—so many homemade goodies that we got to try! We hope to come back!

road to arrive is not easy to find with car navigation, better use google maps

amazing location, you will wake up with ocean on edge and hills in front, between orange trees and flowers. Large and tasty breakfast, bathroom is huge. Recommend for a stay outside crowded places, but 15 minutes from ocean
