Lovely staff; the location is quite convenient and close to the main shopping centre. The breakfast is fresh and the internet connection is good. P.S. I had to leave earlier because I wanted to visit Lisbon but would definitely come back one day.

The receptionist has to open the door for all the guests all the time. So people are constantly buzzing in instead of allowing guests to come and go as they wish once they are checked in. Seems crazy for everyone

Initially the reception wanted me to accept a room without a key - they told me I could just go get them when I wanted to get into my room and they would let me in. Strange since the hotel did not seem busy at all - eventually they led me to a room with it's own key (thankfully). The room is fine and clean, but with weird and dated decor. Good job I didn't get the first room, since I never saw any reception staff for the rest of my stay.

Ended up with a large room, location is convenient for shops and restaurants.

Difficulty to contact reception (the girl in the afternoon shift was somewhere in the back of the building and did not answer the phone). I had to go down personally to look for her Hot water took a lot to reach the shower

Not a very friendly experience when you book in. We are on the Camino and had walked 20 km with backpacks to arrive. Just thought a small amount of consideration would have been appropriate about our journey. The hotel is fine but not suitable for pilgrims.

Basic but satisfactory accommodation.

Excellent breakfast. Good city centre location. 24 hour reception with pleasant and helpful staff. Very quiet location - no traffic noise etc. Lots of hot water.

The humidity smell when we entered the room and the one coming from the bathroom (sewer smell).

The hotel theme all over from the reception to the rooms. The location and room conform and cleanness.

The price is appropriate for the medium quality of the hotel. Its old. The beds are ok but old. The Wi-Fi experiences multiple lags. The staff was helpful and amicable although one morning another guest had to translate the older lady's request: that i should eat now and stop taking my time to enjoy my coffee. I told the guest to tell the lady that i would eat when i would eat. Not a bad person but just particular .... she wanted others to have a place to sit and eat. Nonetheless, no one showed up so all was good :-) ps the coffee is excellent!!!

After a long, hard day on the Camino it was a good choice for a quiet, comfortable room. Breakfast was also included which was appreciated and the staff couldnt have been more helpful.

the neglect. the window of my room required extraordinary effort to close. the curtains are in need of being rehung. there is black colored mold on the wall surrounding the window, the corners of the ceiling. The bathroom is small but adequate however, there are not enough towel recks for hanging towels to dry. the shower enclosure was abhorrent, it can’t be properly closed, the glass has soap scum there is mold around the shower pan. the flooring is laminate and is water damage in the bathroom and into the bedroom from the bathroom. the lighting is dim.

The property is near the Shopping in the main plaza.

I was in room 24 - and the air conditioner appliances outside provide way too much noice, and you barely can change it since there are a few of those, and only one belongs to your room. So the pack of "Tampões para os ouvidos" is your friend if you have the same luck!

Nice clean place, and the location is great! The staff is friendly.

The couldn’t give me key for my room. I had to call for the lady to open the door every time a left the room. They only asked me if I was vaccinated but didn’t confirm or request any documentation to confirm what I was saying, when I confronted lady with this she said :”a minha pátria disse para não pedir o documento, so perguntar” I might be wrong but the Portuguese law requires for the guest to show the document to confirm the vaccine or the test.

The room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed. A peaceful, quiet property on a quiet side street, a short walk from the W shopping mall in downtown Santarem. Pleasant front desk staff.
