    “the host is very helpful and accommodating. we arrived a bit late due to bus delay and also left early in the morning for the early train. however, the host is very accommodating and helpful. She provided useful information and also lent her red bus card for us to use during our short stay. appreciated the efforts of the host! good value for money.”

    “We really liked the style of Casa Helsinki with its high ceilings, shutters and tiles. Our room was big and clean and aside from one night where we could hear music nearby, it was nice and quiet. The bathroom was separate to the room and had a hot shower but I think it could have been cleaned more regularly for a shared bathroom. The kitchen is really big and had a wide range of cooking equipment to use. Check in was easy and it was no problem that we arrived later than planned. We liked the location, it’s very close to Plaza Colon and we walked to most places in the city.”

    “The hostel is well-located and close to the city-center and from everything you need. It's a very nice place, with a good vibe for people who are travelling around. It is not a "big" hostel so you meet other people and travellers quite easily. The staff was very friendly with me from my arrival until I leave and very helpfull with everything.     “The staff at La Lucia were WONDERFUL without exception. They were friendly and kind even though my partner and I couldn't speak Spanish and we all mostly communicated through translation apps. Breakfast was lovely every morning and they left some breakfast items in the fridge for us when we had a really early morning for the race we'd travelled to VGB for. Also the cat Miel is perfect. NOTE: Posada La Lucia is not quite in town, but it was a 2-min drive or ~2km walk into town. This was perfect for us.”
