“The facilty of the room was perfect, as well as the location. I love the complete amenities in the bathroom and the heater in the room worked so well.”
“I had a wonderful time at Casa Carlota. The host Angela and her sweet dog Yara make you feel like you're coming home. Angela contacted me at midday to let me know that she could pick me up on the main road. The house is a little closer to the forest, and to save me a small detour (which would have been short anyway) she offered to pick me up in her car. The house is beautifully situated and offers the perfect environment to recover from the Camino. In the evening she cooked me a delicious soup and a hearty dinner. We had a lovely chat for a long time and went for a walk. On the way she told me a lot about the area. It's nice to understand the area even better through locals. I walked the Way of St. James, and the best thing on the way is the lovely, warm-hearted encounters - and that's exactly what you have when you stop off at Angela's at Casa Carlota! Thank you for everything!”
“The breakfast was really good and staff so pleasant.
The bedroom and bathroom were really impressive. Simple but carefully thought out and appealing
The young lady who booked me in early, who upgraded my room to have a view of the sea, who communicated through my translate app as I am English speaking. The lift to the secure entrance and exit was well thought out and easy to access owing to the instruction in the lift etc.
a very special thank you to the young lady who manages the hotel, who because of heavy rain and I was to walk to the town of Finesterra took my backpack and myself right to the Rústico hotel I was to stay in in Finesterra at no extra charge.
I reported my experience to the travel agent in case she has clients who might like to stay. Thank you for a great stay”
“Perfect place for stay during Camino. Rooms are with few dorms, perfectly organized. There is a bar with kitchen, working whole day. The light breakfast is included, tea, coffee, cake, toast. Perfect for the begining of walking. There is a pool, lot of nice spots in the garden where you can chill out after long walk.”
