- Quiet location in the heart of Transylvania (with many places to visit in the area); - Beautifully restored buildings (however the authenticity of the place is fully preserved); - Cozy, beautifully decorated rooms and spaces (the library is probably the highlight of the location). Extra: our room had views over the fortified church; - The food - delicious breakfast with fresh produce, impressive dinner with a touch of fine dining; - Kind hosts and staff; - Excellent wifi; - Parking spots. *Note: although the property does not have AC (which is understandable), our understanding is that fans can be provided.

The library and the gardens are very nice. I liked the breakfast and the dinner. The staff we interacted with were friendly. A beautiful fortified church that is located a few meters away from the guesthouse is a plus.

The location is very nice, the concept with amazing outdoor areas and library encourage people to disconect from the crazy everyday activities and slow a little. The stuff is very well trained, everybody is superkind. It’a cery good spot to chill,enjoi walks in the gardens,a good book and some wine. If you are a piano player you’ll be happy to find 2 piano and music sheets.

The bath tub felt like it was in an awkward spot in the bathroom.

The room was larger than I expected and very comforting, plus the meals were delicious as well. The hosts were very friendly and made the experience that much more enjoyable.

An amazing place! Welcoming hosts, very good accommodation (traditional old Saxon houses), very tasty food (they have a skilled chef), an amazing library with a lot of books and (last but not least!) a very interesting history lesson with the owner (including a tour of the old fortified church with all the necessary explanations)! You have the sensation of a time travel and the desire to return! It is also possible to visit other close Saxon villages such as: Cincu, Viscri, Rodbav, Agnita, Critz, Mesendorf, Cloasterf etc. We strongly recommend a visit to Transylvania Guesthouse!

The location is a beautiful old school and a parish house transformed into a guest house. The room was very cozy, great atmoshpere for reading and relaxing this time of year. The culinary experience is a must, each evening there was a different dish prepared which was delicious. The breakfast also contained some traditional food. The staff was very nice, always ready to help. Luckily we got a tour of the fortified church and this was also a great learning experience. I do hope that next year we will spend Christmas in this magical place.

Here and there, details need attending such as in the bathrooms, but nothing serious or off-putting. The matrice was a bit too hard for me.

This place is full of heart and soul! Restoration was made with vision and resulted in a pleasant ambiance. The hosts and staff were charming and welcoming, with great stories and smile on their faces.

I recently stayed at the Transylvania Guesthouse (group of 4) and was a great experience. The guesthouse offered a cozy atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, providing attentive and excellent service throughout our stay. The food was a highlight, featuring delicious food that catered to all tastes. Additionally, the tour of the fortified church was both enjoyable and informative, adding a unique touch to our stay. Overall, the guesthouse combined comfort, great service, and engaging activities, making it a delightful place to stay. Great place for cats lovers 😍. For sure we will visit this place once again.

The authenticity of the restauration, the cozy rooms, simple yet comfortable and decorated with good taste. The dining room is spatious and full of light. The meals are gourmet with traditional touch and the breakfast is really rich in variety. The Chef is putting in place a real treat based on local products. The owners are warm people, highly educated and they easily interact with guests from all over the world. The library offers a place to relax and dive into the atmosphere of a former saxon village. The whole experience was unique for me, my husband and my girl and gave us the chance to connect one to the other. In few words, this is a place which will boost your wellbeing through education, nature and quality company.

Literally nothing. I loved it.

Utterly beautiful! My room was one of the loveliest places I’ve ever stayed. Gorgeous decor, so comfortable and spacious, yet cosy. I never want to leave! And the food was absolutely exceptional. Most delicious dinner of the whole trip. Lovely staff and a warm welcome and clearly a very loved place.

The property is located right next to the beautiful fortified church. Every part of it - the room, the view, the yard - radiated charm and calm. The dinner was absolutely delicious. The hosts are wonderful people, the gentleman is a historian and offered us an unforgettable tour of the Cincsor fortified church. We'll definitely come back!

There was one night when there was no heating in the room but the problem was understandable and the blankets were thick
