Quiet and warm house, well maintained and very clean. Interior parking is helpful. A good breakfast can be served at a very good price. But best of all is the hospitality of the hosts.

Pillows too soft for my liking. Not enough sound insulation, so noises from neighbouring rooms was heard.

Staff was very friendly, the whole place was very nicely arranged. Breakfast was good and had lots of options. Pretty close to the city center (short drive away).

We had a lovely stay at Villa Santa Maria. We especially enjoyed the unique decorations that celebrate the owner’s many travels. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast room and patio were lovely. Having parking available right at the door was an added bonus! The Villa is a short drive from “downtown” Sibiu but was easy enough to navigate. The owners are wonderful and were very welcoming to our entire family (kids included)!

We loved the friendliness and hospitality of the owner Roman; we had many great chats about travelling and cultures. We loved the dog Bobby, a black Labrador who was so chilled my son immediately fell in love with Bobby. There was plenty of parking which was great for us since we travelled by car. The location is not in the center of Sibiu which was great as it was quiet. We loved the family room (like a loft) it was simple and practical for 3 adults and 1 child, a double bed upstairs and a double bed at the bottom level. A very modern and a cool room, with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom shower was huge, strong water pressure and hot. The breakfast the next morning was varied for all tastes, and they had a very spacious dining area and a great patio for eating outside in the morning.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at Villa Santa Maria in Sibiu with my wife, and I couldn't wait to share my positive review! This was our third visit to the villa, and even after many years since our previous stay, we were delighted to find that the same warm and welcoming attitude from the owners greeted us once again. It truly felt like we were meeting very old friends, and their hospitality made our stay all the more special. We were fortunate to have a large and cozy apartment with a fantastic terrace boasting an incredible view over the charming town of Sibiu. It was the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and take in the picturesque scenery surrounding us. The apartment was well-maintained and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious breakfast served at Villa Santa Maria. The spread was rich and fresh, offering a delightful selection of typical Romanian products that allowed us to savor the local flavors and culinary delights. Leaving Villa Santa Maria and Sibiu behind was not easy, as we are already dreaming about our next visit. The warmth of the owners, the cozy and well-appointed apartment, and the breathtaking views made our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return and relive the magical moments at Villa Santa Maria. Charming little hotel with character full of beautiful paintings painted by owner. Staff is very friendly, everybody speaks english, rooms are pristine clean… There is a closed private parking which was a big plus for us as we arrived on motorcycles. Definitely a place worth visiting again.

The place is great! Unbelievably clean! The cleaneat place I've seen in a very long time! This made the stay very comfortable. The rooms are bigger than other places we've been to, so it would be a place to even stay longer. Apart from the cleanliness, Villa Santa Maria is decorated with a lot of heart and passion, a lot of pictures and just good taste. Breakfast is plenty and good, and you have a nice view into the garden and the option to sit on the terrace. We will be staying there again!

- very nice and professional stuff. - rooms (7 and 8) were very big and clean, as well as the bathroom. - our rooms came with a balcony which was huge. - good breakfast with plenty of choices. - big yard to relax after a long day. - 5min walk to the nearest gas station or non-stop shop, in case you need something in the late afternoon.
