Nice, friendly and clean. Dogs were allowed for a fee. Directly at a lake and at the main road. Good for a stopover. There was a shared kitchen (toaster, microwave, oven, coffemachine) and fridge we could use. They offer husky tours in winter.

Maybe the location feels a bit in the middle of nowhere, on a very-fast-traffic main road... I was travelling by bicyle so this was challenging. The restaurant closed really early, 8PM if I remember correctly. I arrived a few mins later and I had no chance to get dinner.

This is possible the cutest place I have been in 2.5 weeks of travelling around. The rooms are really nice, nicely decorated. I had the feeling of being in a hut, but I wasn't. The surrounding area is quite nice: big green area, you can spot the nearby bridge, and sit outside on the bench to admire the sun set. The restaurant area close by was really quiet and I did not get disturbed. The bathroom is spacious!

Bathroom had an odor until we poured water down shower drain.No wifi in rooms , had to go to restaurant for this.Breakfast is not available until 8 am which is unsuitable if you have a long drive that day.Sled dogs like 80 of them are on the premises and make it quite noisy if you have your windows of accommodation open to cool the room .No air conditioning or fans.

Good spot to stay overnight when you're travelling up north. The rooms are new and clean, and the interior looks very fresh. We'll stay there again when we will be on the road.

Poor breakfast (there are no hot dishes; only hot tea/coffee). There is no hot water/boiler/kettle inside the room to make the tea/coffee in the evening.

Breakfast basic & fine - location convenient alongside E45/10: in the middle of nowhere, beautiful by the Kalix river (and a bit away from the road, so no noise from that). Room basic - very clean - WIFI fast

Comfortable and very clean room and shared facilities (smaller kitchen, saunas). Restaurant with a great selection of traditional food, with great quality and low price. Breakfast was also great with fresh bread and all the must-haves.

Quite may Mosquitoes there :-) In breakfast, some kind of a cake was missing for me, but otherwise everything you need was available.

We loved our stay at Lappeasuando Lodge, however, what was unbearable were mosquitoes everywhere. If there were mosquito nets, we could freely walk through the door or open the window as it was too hot but there were none. The window had to be closed all the time and it was too hot. As for the door, we had to go super fast not to let mosquitoes go inside. Mosquito sprays or creams do help for some time, but still, sleeping in a room full of insects was not that good. A simple mosquito net would make a charm. Or at least citronella candles.

The location was super good; close to water and nature. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The whole area and restaurant were great too, and the staff was friendly.

I think this place is a paradise in the midst of Swedish Lappland. Situated between Kiruna and Gällivare, it's a wonderful 1-floor hotel and camping. I've been in the hotel room and it's just wonderful. Super clean, woods, comfortable bed, an efficient warming and shoes dryer. And it's just outside the green law! You just open the door and are almost in the nature! The Kalix river is really near and reachable in 2 minutes walking, as well as the old historical bridge from 1930 who connected the two parts of Lappeasuando village. The staff is very friendly and breakfast was okay. Free parking. Souvenir shop. You can also see the auroras because it's situated 170 km North of Polar Circle (I read Gällivare is 150 km North and the lodge is 20 km from Gällivare). What else? Oh yes, strong WiFi and nice place for fishing (except from 1st September to 31th December). Absolutely one of the best places where I have been in Northern Sweden, I would prefer this to the modern stupid and globalised Scandic hotels.
