It appears the rooms are still a work in progress, including, for example, a temporary (I assume) room divider from reception to floor rooms, and minor but irritating items like a shower head without a working holder, etc. Room isn't anything fancy and, I guess, probably in the price range for the area (just before touristy Bled).

Host was very informative and helpful regarding the area - I'm doing a series of articles for American cycling publications. He also provided access to a mini-fridge, so much appreciated.

We had a very nice stay! Skofja Loka is charming, and the room was clean and pleasant, as shown in pictures. The owner was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming, provided us with recommendations and helped with everything needed. Recommended!

One of the best hosts we have ever had, from the moment we were greeted till we left. The rooms were very spacious and included everything we needed. Rooms and all environment were very clean. The owner took a high pride in what he had built and we could not agree more. The area was just amazing, very close to everything. The tip we received from the owner to drive through the mountains on our return to the building on our second night, was priceless, amazing journey that left us all speechless. Keep up the amazing work and we cannot wait to return for skiing. All the best.

The host! Marko is an amazing host, the best we had in our trip, gave us lots of guidance, a caring happy person, we love him! The place itself was great, the location is perfect, and in a walking distance of a good bakery.

Extremely friendly host who gave us perfect recommendations for restaurants in the city, parkings for Ljubljana and some other activities to do whilst in Slovenia. We even received a small breakfast free of charge while having a nice conversation in the morning with the host. 11/10 would recommend to anyone. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

The house is situated in a quiet location in the beautiful historic town of Škofja Loka, there is plenty of parking space in front of the house. The room was big, clean, well furnished. The host was very communicative, kind and pleasant. We got advice and tips from him on what to do and see. Thank you!

Cyclists: There is secure parking for your bike. I arrived soaking wet on my bicycle and got a warm welcome. Marko rushed to prep a spot to dry my many wet clothes. Like the other reviews mention, the host Marko is a very open, sociable guy. It is cash-only but there is an ATM nearby where there is also a good bakery that is open until 10pm.

Very polite and freindly owner with much to say about the country and town itself, studio was very good. Škofja Loka is cute tiny scenic place with medieval charm, about half way between Ljubljana and Kranj.

Host Marko was great! He waited for me and helped with my luggage. He quickly told me about Škofja Loka exploring options and send me a pdf with information about local shops and restaurants. Apartment was clean and comfortable. I was very surprised about the internet speed. I will come again for shure.
