I didn't like staying as an adult woman in a double room with an adult man. I don't know if it was my fault, maybe I wasn't careful enough while booking and I chose a mixed room, I am not sure. I don't have any problem sharing a room with the opposite gender but only if there are more people in the room, not when there is only me and the other person.

It is located right in the center, it is also easy to reach from the bus station. There is a market nearby as well. The room was big and the bathroom was inside the room. Towel was included. The staff was helpful.

The entrance for the Hostel is through the Hotel’s lobby so we had to walk a long distance carrying our stuff to reach the room. The wasn’t a specific policy regarding the parking and pet fees to know in advance. We were informed at arrival that the parking happened to be free for that day and they bargained about the pet fees which was frustrating.

The common kitchen is small, not so clean, the dining space is also small. There are no night lights for each bunkbed only one main light. There are no power sockets near beds (upper bunk bed).

The bathroom was too small, you have to sit sideways on the toilet and the shower door is too narrow to go through.

Staff are nice and spoke English well. The check in was easy. The room was very basic, bed was two twin beds together - was comfortable. The bathroom was small and the shower too, there were soap, clean towels and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The room was a bit of a ways, looks like the hostel is connected to the hotel. Location is in the center with restaurants and a nice little Christmas market.

Everything was good, apart from the noise in the corridor that could be heard through the room door. I think they need to get some more soundproofing or thicker doors to fix this, particularly as there was some renovation work going on in the morning.

I first stayed in this hotel/hostel about 17 years ago, and it was good then and it's good now. Great value for money for a city centre hotel, particularly as all the other hotels in the centre of Maribor are way overpriced for what you get. Overall it is a nice, comfortable hotel with excellent staff and customer service.

Be aware this is part of a Hotel Orei, same place, but the entrance is easier to find if searching directions wiith that name.

There is nothing particularly bad but I can make a suggestion. You should add a table to each room. There is a lot of space inside but no desks to put stuff on it.

This is the best tranquil hostel I've been in so far. I didn't expect this. The reason may be that it's a part of a hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, the location is perfect and value exceeds the price. If you want a quiet and comfortable place in the city's heart, this is the right place for you.
