How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lift was very small and quite often slow to arrive but wasn't really a problem and unavoidable due to nature of the building.
Accommodating, friendly staff. Lovely breakfast area and excellent healthy, offerings at breakfast, especially freshly cooked eggs. Coffee machine produced lovely coffee and great that it was available all day...loved the cookie jar too. Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean; fresh towels provided whenever needed. Liked the kitchenette area and fridge. Location of hotel was excellent, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Elevator is very slow and some timrs I waited 4 min and I used stairs A/C was very bad
Location is super good Breakfast is good Room space Decoration of the room Easy taxi access for drop off bags Very nice view Staff are very nice. All of them.

Good location in quiet street. About half way between the river and bus train station. Large room with good shelf and hanging space. Large fridge, hob and sink in the room. Small pot to heat water. Only fruit teabags. 2 small bottles of Prosecco in the fridge. Tap water is drinkable. Good size bathroom. Soap dispensers in shower and beside basin. Breakfast had good selection of cold good. Eggs and bacon made to order. Staff helpful and friendly.

This hotel is hard to fault. Could have supplied black (english) tea and have a few more hot options for breakfast.
Excellent location - close to the centre but not 'in it' so not noisy. Bedrooms & bathroom great. Had a washing machine, dryer in basement for all guests to use - fantastic when travelling for extended periods. Good breakfast with lots to choose from. Supplied complimentary water and small bottles of sparkling wine - nice touch.

Everything! Our comfortable room was quiet, spacious, very clean and on an upper floor as we'd requested. The location of the hotel was great: Ljubiana is a beautiful, small city and we were close to everything. The breakfast was simply the best we had on our three week trip around Europe: there was plenty of choice and the quality of everything was excellent. More than anything though, the staff we met were outstanding in their welcome and in making our stay so pleasant and enjoyable. We wish to thank Jure, Anastasia and Ziga for their help in all matters.

The hotel doesn't have a parking so be prepared for additional expenses.
The room was very comfortable and the hotel is in the center of the city. Staff were very polite and we enjoyed the variety of choices for breakfast.

WiFi was decent but unstable for video calls. However, staff was super helpful and assisted with finding the solution for that as well!
Everything was wonderful, staff, breakfast, the room and hotel location. Will visit again.

The location is excellent. Rooms are really big, comfortable and soundproof. We really appreciated and enjoyed the free coffee and snacks we were allowed to consume till 22:00. The majority of the staff was super helpful and we liked the breakfast as well. To sum up, we think that this hotel is an excellent choice!

Not much to not like for that price. The heating was a bit weird, it kept blowing cold air initially. So it took a while to heat up the room. Perhaps we had the controls wrong. Overall, not much to complain about.
Urban Boutique Hotel Center gives you excellent value for your money. It is located right in the city center on the other side of Slovenska Street. The hotel is clean and the staff is polite. What is great is that the rooms are large, so you have enough space to spread out and relax. There is a nice quiet park which the rooms overlook. The hotel isn't staffed after midnight, so keep that in mind. Generally a great stay if you want to be there for a few nights.

There were not available orthopedic pillows. The cleaning of kitchen cupboards could be better
All the staff was very welcoming, smiling , courteous. Breakfast was really delicious especially burek. The room was spacious, big bathroom, otel is very well located to reach both historical places and market area
