Property seems quite old, in particular the room, even if I imagine they recently went for a major restructure and modernisation. The size of the room, quality of materials and technology should be redefined and improved.

Building itself is very nice and comfortable, large spaces, good facilities (restaurant, bar and spectacular spa) and great location in yhe center. Staff very courteous and accommodating all the requests, kudos to them. Room itself should be improved for a 4 star hotel.

There was no view from the room (just another part of the hotel walls). The immediate surroundings of the hotel is a bit dull.

The shower I asked for was provided and we have a quick reaction to change the batteries of the TV set. To go to Vienna, the staff told us the quickest way to go to the Flixbus SNP station. The railway station is even closer.

I just wanted to comment that the phone wasn't working, so I had to go to reception myself. But that was only a minor inconvenience.

Simple stay, easy to get to and the staff was quite helpful. Our checkout got extended free of charge no problem. The spa was a nice addition. We were able to use it outside of official opening hours upon request. It got crowded during peak hours on Saturday afternoon, which was expected.

The SPA area is quite small. Real relaxation was not achieved. But everything is in a good shape. Quite similar for the breakfast room. Tables are narrow and you sit really close to your neighbors.

View from the room to the inner courtyard, but poor. All guests can see directly into their bedrooms. When the curtains are drawn, then there is no daylight. I recommend choosing rooms with a view of the city or castle. Smaller choice of food at breakfast.
