We had a fantastic stay at the pension! House and room were so cute and cozy. Hosts were extremely friendly and knowledgeable- they even planned out a couple days of hiking for us and wrote out train timetables for getting there and back. Truly above and beyond service!

Beautiful rustic cottage, very well equiped large comfortable rooms. Breakfast was also perfect, lots of nice choices. You can have a draft beer in the evening from their own bar. The pension is in the old town but also possible to walk into Poprad in 10 minutes. Location is great and parking is free. The owners really care about the guest and went beyond expectations when our car broke down in Slovakia. We are very grateful and we will come back again.

It was our first visit to Poprad and the warm and friendly hosts definitely elevated the experience. The room was clean and cosy, and the wifi connection was great!

Nothing. We had a fabulous time.

Our family had a pleasure to stay at this family-run place for 3 nights. The host was very welcoming and gave us useful tips on places to see in the local area. The interiors are tastefully decorated and very clean. On top of that, the cooked breakfast was delicious and a bargain. We wish to be able to come visit Martin and his family again soon.

The best thing I liked about the place is that the staff was super friendly & helpful. We got very homely vibes from the staff & they helped us in every way possible during our stay. The breakfast was also excellent & it was great value for money.

Very friendly owners ready to help. Great WiFi. Very clean. Breakfast was exceptional, went above and beyond to cater for our intolerances/allergies. A lot of parking spaces on the location.

Excellent location nearby all attractive places in Spišska Sobota/Poprad, family owned with intimate atmosphere, excellent staff and flexibility make thisplace perfect for relaxing stay.

We had a great time in Penzion Barborka! The hosts were absolutely amazing. Even though we arrived later than expected (around 10PM), they still gave us a full tour of the house and were happy to give some recommendations for hiking routes to do the next day. Breakfast is also very good. Would definitely stay here again!

Probably the best value for money accommodation we ever had. Very nice, cosy and clean room and house, it felt almost like being in a cabin in the mountains. Breakfast was very good as well. Booking and communication worked well. Martin was very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for trips and restaurants in Tatra, Poprad and the area.

Amazing hosts! Very friendly people and super cosy rooms and house. The breakfast was also really good and they though about the fact that we are vegetarians. We wanted to stay more nights, but they were already full, so be quick! Next time we definitely go here again!

Everything was perfect!
