The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served authentic local food, varied and interesting at reasonable prices. The location next to a park and adjoining pedestrian areas is very convenient. The spa facilities were absolutely excellent.

Well located hotel a short walk from Zilina town square. It was quiet the night I stayed and slept well. Chose this place as it is a short walk to the train station.

Staff is extremly friendly. Due to early morning departure we asked for breakfast "to go". Without any issue, everything prepared. It was very pleasant stay.

We were okay with it, but there was no coffee machine during breakfast, only the thermos with already prepared coffee For few days its okay, but there was small selection of choices for breakfast, so if someone is staying for multiple days, it might be dissadvantage Welness was included in price of room, but during our stay, we could have used it only for one day, because the other day it was closed

Taxi driver holding 'Taxi' sign at station was dishonest and charged us 10 Euros for a very short drive. He could have told us the Pension was only round the corner. Beware of him. Ask price first and how far.

The area was perfect and parking was safe- we arrived on 2 motorcycles so parking is always important. The room and entire facility was very clean. The wellness center far exceeded our expectations. Too bad the jakuzzi was empty, but the poll and 2 saunas were great. I will go back if we're in the area again.

Everything was fine

The location was really good, facing a beautiful park, and just a few minutes walk to the old town. The lady at reception was very friendly, and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. I had steak which was a good portion, and cooked to perfection, Our waitress was very efficient and friendly, We had breakfast in the morning, which was good

The hotel Central Park is situated in the Park SNP. The railway station is 5 minutes walking distance. The city center is 2 minutes walking distance. The reception is working 24/7. There is also a restaurant in the hotel. They offer free parking for cars. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was quite good and offered different food. There is also some typical Slovakian food for breakfast - you will know it when you see it. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna. For the sauna, you need a reservation. Enjoy jour stay!

maybe some changes in the breakfast choices... some of the waitresses at the restaurant don't speak English at all, as a result I got Cheese dumplings twice although I wanted to try the national cabbage dumplings and she didn't want to understand any word and maintain that it was the right order... Anyway, the cheese dumplings were really good though

if the bubble bath in wellness would be working and if the room would also have better curtains (ideally black-out curtains), then everything would be perfect

This was not our first stay, we love it there! Combination of great location, cosy rooms, exceptional breakfast and friendly, forthcoming staff. This time i would like to highly appreciate the flexibility - our baby-sitting got cancelled and for a minute it seemed we would have to cancel the booking. But i just called them and they made it happen so our daughters could stay in the same room (by adding an extra bed), so i'm really grateful. We tried the restaurant and everything was very good. You have to be prepared, that during the season, there are often weddings happening there, but we didnt mind and it was not too noisy.

The advertised spa facilities were a major disappointment; not only was the pool closed on several days, contrary to what was advertised on Booking.com, but the spa environment itself was far from relaxing or appropriate for all guests. During my visit, the jacuzzi was occupied by fully naked men, which was quite inappropriate and uncomfortable, especially considering that children are allowed in the spa until 6 PM. Additionally, the room left much to be desired with ineffective air conditioning and no blackout blinds, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bedding consisted of two single beds pushed together rather than a proper double bed. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was subpar, and the breakfast provided was consistently disappointing with stale bread and undercooked meals. To make matters worse, the noise levels both from within and outside the hotel were intolerable, with loud disturbances from a nearby party going on past 1 AM and early morning noise from the hotel’s cleaning staff. The customer service was also notably poor, with staff members appearing indifferent and often rude, which did nothing to improve the stay.

Pension Central Park is in an excellent location, making it a potentially ideal base for exploring the charming town of Žilina. The town itself is lovely, featuring picturesque streets and a vibrant local culture that invites tourists to immerse themselves in its unique atmosphere. The hotel's proximity to various local attractions is definitely a plus, offering convenience for guests looking to experience the town fully.
