Checking in was tough as I didn't have a Thai SIM, but once connected to WiFi I called via WhatsApp and was given a code to the lock for the key

Very friendly staff. The room has everything you need, they also brought bottles of drinking water for free. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean. Towels. Warm water. Decent interior. All requests were answered immediately. Good location. There is a bike rental right in the resort. For two weeks of stay, there was not a single unpleasant situation.

Arrived in our first room to the overwhelming smell of mould and foist. The bathroom plumbing was leaking causing water to be present in the bathroom. They haven’t tiled the bathroom properly and where they couldn’t be bothered to cut tiles to fit they’ve just filled with concrete which soaks water and grows mould. There was mould in the air conditioning system. Asked to change rooms later that night and was told it could be done in the morning. After my first night I woke up feeling ill and my bad chest was made worse. The room was on a busy road. The door didn’t fit properly I could see the light through it. It was very loud at night. We moved rooms the next day. The new room still had the same issues in the bathroom but it wasn’t as bad. The front door still didn’t fit properly. The air conditioning system in the new room had a mind of its own. Lots of mosquitos found their way into our room. The bed was really hard. The towels were clean but not fresh. I honestly don’t understand how people have rated this 8. I have travelled Thailand and stayed in many hotel rooms. I know what to expect for this price and this hotel falls way below standard. It feels like the owner will not spend money but is happy to take it from tourists without even providing basic clean rooms. The staff did their best with what they had. They know the rooms are bad. Tourists of Thailand. Stop putting up with sub standard accommodation.

It is a little walk from the main part of Lamai, only around 15 minutes. The AC could have been stronger but it still did the job.

the location wasn’t great you’ll need to rent a bike, The bed wasn’t the comfiest, it wasn’t the quietest in the morning was woken up early every morning.

The Worst place I've been in Thailand so far.. Nobody is speaking english! no manager around, no office.. i did the check in with a Thai house keeper.. Apparently they are running this place... I've been told that the Owner hide himself in Singapore and doesn't care about his place! he’s just collecting the money! The poor house keepers have to deal with all the problems without any support! The bathroom was dirty and very hold with lot of moisture, it needs to be refurbished! The air con was working but very noisy. The bed was ok, but not amazing. The room was quite clean and I can tell they are trying to do their best, but this hotel need a serious maintenance and update! After my first night we got a power cut and no water.. After 1 h I asked if they knew what’s going and I’ve been told that there was a power cut in certain part of SAMUI. The funny thing is some rooms had electricity and water, but not mine.. I asked them to give me another room. I changed room and after 10 min, I got the same problem: no electricity and no cold water.. These smart people use an electric pump to bring the cold water, so if you have a power cut you don’t have any water at all.. I lost my patient and told them that I wanted to leave this place! they accepted to refund me. Don’t go there!!! this place is a JOKE.

The house keepers was quite nice and helpful and the Price. appart from that .. nothing!
