We had thai food masterclass at the hotel too which was super expensive and unfortuntaly didn't meet our expectations. It was ,ore like cooking withyour family in the kitchen together but we didn't really learn anything from it.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is a spot of tranquillity in the busy town. The location is perfect, close to many attractions and restaurants, but also quiet and peaceful. The staff was very caring and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Traditional Thai breakfast was delicious and filling. The hotel is beautifully decorated with local art and crafts, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in this town.

There is no pool or TV, but this is more of a point of information than a complaint.

The people here are kind, generous, and bend over backward to make every part of your stay special. Adi and his family have created a super special oasis in the middle of the Old City. My gypsy soul was happy here. The greeting upon arrival was gracious and included a 2-sided map and suggestions for sightseeing. Adi arranged for us to obtain a driver for 3 consecutive days. It was so appreciated.

We enjoyed spending several evenings in this beautiful, traditional Thai house during our trip. The treehouse was carefully crafted by the artistic members of a family who were incredibly warm and hospitable towards us. The attention to detail in the house's decor was impressive, and traditional Thai architecture was meticulously followed in its construction. We felt grateful for the opportunity to experience such a lovely and authentic part of Thai culture, and we will always cherish our memories of our stay in that charming house.

EVERYTHING! The hosts were exceptionally nice and informative as we were provided with a detailed map of their recommendations. We had the whole guest house to ourselves and everything was very clean. Delicious breakfast was provided daily and dishes varied every day we were there. Absoultely would recommend for any wishing for a memorable stay in the Old Town area of Chiang Mai.

The only reason I give 9/10 is that there is a rooster next door that may keep up light sleepers, although this is not a fault of the property itself. Bringing noise machine or ear plugs would be helpful

A beautiful serene place to stay and hidden from the hustle and bustle. Felt like staying at home and also very safe. The hosts were just lovely and very helpful. The kitchen was accommodating for our dietary needs and breakfast was a delight . The kitty LuLu on the property was adorable too:)

Being a single female I did not feel one hundred percent comfortable in the room that was given to me which was across the road and not in the village compound.

The interior design was absolutely amazing, the bathroom was a bathroom of dreams, you can tell the owner really takes pride in the look and feel of the hotel. The staff continuously aided us in anything we need/wanted, calling beforehand to see if everything was okay prior to check in and also after. Great place to stay when staying in Chiang Mai, and super close to loads of shops etc.

The only thing I can think of was being woken up by the cockerels crowing in the morning. It's so easy to forget you're in the heart of a bustling city.

Genuinely special place. From the communication upon booking through to airport pick ups and general help, through to the incredible breakfast everyday. We were incredibly lucky to arrive on New year's eve and the team cooked up an incredible feast with drinks on the house. Adi and Jaeb were perfect hosts and make it all just feel effortless. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is so beautiful and comfortable. The sticky rice barn we stayed in was ideal for travelling with 2 small kids. Location perfect for exploring old town, but also easy to get out to the mountains. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fantastic 3-night stay in the Rice Farmer House! We wish we could have stayed much longer. The hotel feels like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city, the architecture is incredible and the hosts are the kindest people. We added Chiang Mai to our holiday itinerary purely so that we could stay there and did not regret it one bit!!

We were met by staff even though we arrived after 8pm, requiring someone to stay late. They sat with us to detail the property and to go over our itinerary for the week, and then showed us around the property and our room.

Everything! The place is gorgeous. One of the brothers is an artist so the whole place is filled with wonderful little details. Family who runs it was super helpful and friendly, and the location was great. The resident cats were a bonus! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Chiang Mai who is looking for something that feels more traditional/authentic, but still wants to stay somewhere convenient for checking out the Old Town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay 😊
