Very good value for money, food at the restaurant (opened for breakfast and dinner) is delicious. You can borrow kayaks for free to go in the bay and visit the fishing village nearby. Quiet location, great for resting holidays. Soap and shampoo dispenser in the bathroom.

It's a bit far from everything

We liked the view from the bungalows and how quite it was. Bungalows are simple but cosy. Quite good value for the price.

Nothing although we would have liked to have a safe in the room

The location, close to the pier with a perfect view, .5 minutes walk to the pier were you find a few shops, 2 or 3 restaurants and a few bars with mostly local People. The resort provides free Kayaks which opens a tour in the bay and mangroves. The bungalows were super clean and comfortabele, with WiFi and warm water. The restaurant provided (cheap) excellent food. Given the low price , this resort got our full 10 rating.

Excellent value for money. Basic but as expected considering the price point.

The host was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and very peaceful. You need to hire a bike, as stated the location is not central but this is no problem. Food at the hotel was lovely enjoyed every meal. Was provided with clean towels, bedding a toliet paper frequently. Excellent value for money.

The bungalows are comfy, clean and cosy! The TV work well we were able to set up our firestick easily enough and watch a film in the evening and chill! It's very remote location so you only get sounds of nature, it's very peaceful. You will need to rent a bike to see the island because it's very far away from everything and there isn't a lot to do in this location.

Very special location, away from everything. Not for everyone. But if you enjoy quiet areas, kayaking, sitting by the water, listening to sounds of the nature...this is great. You can eat at the resort, there are kayaks, scooters, walking distance to the pier, swimming pool. And you can always take a scooter and ride everywhere you need. 15 minutes ride to the nearest beach. Just be careful, there are dogs by the road! Not much traffic.

If you want to see more of the island then to be able to ride a motorbike would be a good advantage.

We loved our stay at Ao Salut and didn't want to leave. An eight night stay here was too short for us. The bungalow that we were in was large, clean and comfortable with a fridge, air con, a good sized shower and toilet and a fantastic balcony that overlooked part of the fishing village and Ao Salut bay.. The pool was great, was kept clean and we enjoyed a dip in it two or three times a day. We made good use of the free kayaks and were out every morning to explore the mangrove forest, the fishing village or the wider, calm shallow bay. Aoo was the hard working lady who ran the place She was polite, kind and courteous and was really helpful. We rented a nice little motorbike from her at a very reasonable price and she organised our onwards travel for us. The food was some of the best and most unique that I'd had in Thailand.

Quite far from everything else on the island, we rode a motorbike so it was fine and we enjoyed the quiet location.

Beautiful quiet location overlooking the bay and a short walk from the fishing village. Little pool and free kayaks were a nice bonus.

Restaurant lhas a limited selection. Happy hour would also encourage use and some music to improve atmosphere. Landscape would benefit from some planting and parasols and loungers at the poolside would make it more useable.

Very quiet area, it is somewhat distant from the more central area as they make very clear during booking, but we found it enjoyable to get around by scooter. Super clean, staff was very friendly and attentive, food was great and they had good prices. They changed our sheets every 2 days which at first we thought might be a bit much but we kept getting sand everywhere so it was very appreciated. Amazing value for money!

Great stay, location is nice and quiet. Amazing views across the bay. We used the free kayaks to explore the jungle surrounding the bay. We rented motor bikes from here and the food is great at very reasonable prices compared the rest of the island. It’s a nice 15/20 minutes drive to get to the busy areas/beaches.

Very beautiful island. Had so much fun Snorkeling on Aow Noi Beach. Very clean everywhere and nice and quiet island. Ideal for families and if you want to rest.

We had an amazing time here with my girlfriend. The location may be at the opposite side of the island, but having to take a motorbike throughout a pretty much empty island is just a huge bonus! ;-) The resort staff was very helpful and you can rent a motorbike directly from them.
