This is the most nice hotel I ever visited. Even come back on my way home getting though the Bangkok. All rooms are equipped in different way. And they are really quiet, you file like at home because of different small staff around the room. Also I hade very tasty breakfast every morning) even I can choose the kind of meal. Ohh it is nice tradition in this hotel that every morning they put different traditional things on your table and you scan qr code and read about it. I highly recommend to choose this hotel for your stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Focal Local. For our first experience in Bangok we couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. We felt very safe and comfortable. The Service was really nice, very helpful and friendly. Also the Thai Breakfast was very delicious and it was no problem at all to prepare it spontaneously in vegetarian as well. They also give you some nice recommendations around the area and some helpful Tipps for you stay in Bangok. If you don't want to stay in the right touristic center of Bangok, we also can recommend the Focal Local since it is on the other side of the river. You have the opportunity to stay in a more calm area and have some really nice opportunities for the Thai Flair. But at the same time you're quickly on the other side of the river.Also the nightmarket around the corner was a nice experience. For vegetarians and vegans there is also a very delicious restaurant around 10 min away by food from the hotel. If one day we travel back to Bangok we will definitely stay again at the Focal Local! Thank you 🙏

A very comfortable night in this quiet area of Bangkok. The free Tuk tuk to the station and ferry was really helpful. The staff were lovely, and as we had a very late flight home, they stored our bags for the day and were able to have a shower before heading to the airport.

It is conveniently located close to the river, the sky train and the icon siam. There is a complimentary Tuk Tuk service which we appreciated a lot. You can go to either to the BTS station or the ferry for saphan taksin. Also the icon siam is only a short ride. Walking to the BTS is also a good option as there are many local vendors, food stalls and plenty of street food around. On weekends I recommend checking out the grandmom’s house just around the corner for coffee and delicious thai sweets as well as food.

Everything was perfect. The location was very nice and relatively quiet The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer 2 complementary tuktuk rides. We had to leave very early in the morning and they prepared for us a bag with sandwiches, fruits, and juice.

We loved everything. The hospitality at Focal Local was unlike anywhere we’ve been,the breakfast each day was phenomenal with so much intention put into each dish we always ordered the Thai breakfast and were impressed each day. Each area of the B&B was spotless, the lobby and breakfast area was very clean. The room was spotless, the bed was typical Thai style hard but still comfortable, and the bathroom was lovely, always hot water and great water pressure. The location was perfect for us, there’s a local market right around the corners, many 7/11s, Thai massage, and the BTS and pier is 15 minutes walking but the tuk tuk service they offer was another amazing addition for those super hot days to be dropped off at either location. When we first arrived the staff gave us a map of the area and told us how to get where, they gave us food options in the area and they even have DVDs you can borrow for the night if you just want to stay in. Just like all places in Bangkok it can be noisy at night with cars driving by, I always bring ear plugs so I’m unbothered but just to keep in mind for anywhere you stay! We can’t say enough good things about Focal Local. Truly a hidden gem!!!

The steps to get to the room are steep and too many for my arthritic knees.

The accommodation was great again. I was already here for the second time! This time I had the opportunity to see other designs of the other rooms (each room has a different one). Again the staff were great. Upon arrival, you will receive all information about the surroundings, including a map. The location is great if you want to live in a less touristy area and at the same time be in great access to any transportation. I highly recommend and look forward to the next time...
