room smelled very damp as there is no extractor fan in the bathroom. AC didn’t work properly and was barely blowing (buttons weren’t working properly either) so the room was super stuffy

I handed in some clothes for the laundry service and made my departure without picking up these clothes again ... I realized not earlier than my arrival in Germany... I then send the hotel a message, and they sent the package of clothes all way to Germany!! I am so excited. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are a very special experience especially those with a view...! Absolut recommendation!

There was overbooking (Fullmoon party period) so the first night we slept in a guesthouse located at one kilometer away from the hotel. We didn't have Coffee machine in our room. No wifi. There was a water infiltration in the walls so we had a puddle in the enter for the whole stay. No HDMI cable provided. The staff wasn't very comprehensive when we tried to negociate for overbooking compensation.

We've been upgraded due to overbooking. We had a room with a beautiful seaview. Air conditioning is working well. The hotel is located on the beach. We also had free breakfast everyday during the stay to compensate the overbooking inconveniences. There were a lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel. We rent a bike to go to the full moon because it was the cheapest mean of transport.

-not many vegan options at breakfast and flies all in the food. -got moved to a different hotel as they were fully booked. Ended up staying in a room that was further away from the beach than the rest. -got offered no compensation for this!

We got food poisoning from the breakfast. If you are staying higher up in the resort it is a bit of a trek to reach the room.

The room was nice and cleaned every day. The location is good. The beach is very nice.

When we arrived the room wasn’t even cleaned, and when they eventually cleaned the room, the towels were dirty. The breakfast was not good and the staff was rude from the beginning of our stay.

The only thing good about this place is the beach were it’s located. It’s very long and has lots of good restaurants.

Oh my god where do I even start?? When we arrived at reception we were ignored for ages by two women who were trying to look busy. We had two nights booked, only to be told that they had overbooked for the first night of our stay. The staff did not seem bothered, and did not try to help us find anywhere else to stay. While they did offer us a bed in the staff dorm for the first night of our stay, we felt uncomfortable sharing such close quarters with strangers. After finding alternative accomodation, I called to double check that our reservation would still be valid for the second night. The woman who answered the phone sounded high as a kite, just kept saying "yeeeaaahhh..." over and over again, didn't fill me with confidence. The next morning we went back, and luckily the room was ready. It's a good job we are relatively young and able-bodied, as the room was up a very steep hill and lots of stairs, next to what I think is a car park. Lots of very loud motorbike engines early in the morning! Our room was on the end of a row, we had to squeeze past some overgrown plants and the tiling on the floor outside was very cracked and sharp. The room itself was ok, not amazing but it had a bed and air con. The walls had a few squashed mosquitoes on them. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant, the food was nice when it arrived, though one of us had long finished their food by the time the rest of us got a meal. Very slow service even by Thailand's relaxed standards. We paid at the bar in the end as all the staff seemed to have disappeared. When we left the next day, we asked reception to book us a taxi to our next destination, they asked for 1250 THB to haad rin, which is expensive compared to other long-ish journeys we had taken. When one of our group quibbled over the price, the woman at the desk said "ok fine no taxi" and turned her back to us. At this point we didn't care, we just wanted to get out of there. Overall, TERRIBLE hotel.

Once upon a time there was this lovely resort… When you arrive at the resort from a certain safe distance you think this is so lovely. But then after speaking to the lovely lady (not!!) behind the reception reality kicks in. This lady is extremely grumpy. There was no excuse whatsoever from there side. Apparently we were overbooked she said. At first she was telling us there was something wrong with my creditcard and that they couldn’t charge my creditcard. Which is weird because everything is working fine. This was an absolute lie. The only option they gave us was sleeping in a dorm or one of there guests houses because all the other options were fully booked. We had a terrible night sleep at this place. It was extremely moldy, and electricity was not working properly. The next day we could finally check in at the resort and go to our superior bungalow with sea view. We definitely had sea view, no doubt about that. But the superior part was missing completely. Also it was not even a bungalow. We had no privacy at all. I can go in to extreme bad details about the room and the resort, but just believe me if I say this. It’s way overpriced for what you get. It’s not maintained at all for many years. From the bottom of my heart, please don’t spend your money here, you will certainly regret it! This place has two options, either they shut it down and completely renovate the resort, or they have to lower the prices drastically. And the staff needs to be replaced, or work wise they somehow need to find joy again.

Don´t use your credit card to reserve rooms here. The lady at the front desk (Ole) double-charged my credit card without authorization, confirmed the fact that they did so, promised to refund the sum and I then never did - even after several reminders. Even Booking.com appears to have given up communicating with the hotel and went silent on the matter. Looks like I now have to contact my credit card company to get a refund. This place is run down and has dishonest management. Avoid at all costs. If the hotel does resolve this matter, I will update this review.

The room could be more clean. Even though they have daily cleaning service, they never clean the windows and the floor in the bathroom wasn't that clean (even a bit smelly)

The room was great, very comfortable, next to the beach. The view was great. The breakfast is great for that money. Restoran is good too. Pool was clean. Beach not too crowded. They have bunch of other services, such as laundry, taxi, water activities, rent-a-car/bike. The woman from the reception was so friendly and helpful. Big up for her

the stuff could be nicer. one of the members was really insisting me to pay the breakfast while I was eating there everyday and staying for 8 days. I said I will pay after eating (he catches me while the food on my mouth) and he said you must pay Now) . anyways was all good besides the attention wasnt stunning also at the reception it seems when you ask something that you are bothering them

It sounds petty but the music played in the evenings was dreadful. Maybe it was a way of getting the restaurant and bar closed by 10pm!

The room I stayed in had a wonderful view over the sea. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was spacious.

When I arrived at bay view and tried to check into my room they said they didn’t have any proof of my booking and that they had already re sold my semi private pool villa. Almost accusing me of not booking it properly or I booked it too late, but I had booked & paid for it via booking.com 4 months prior to my stay. They even sent me an email and message a few days prior to my arrival, so they definitely knew I was arriving. They said they was now fully booked and told me that I could have a refund and try to find other accommodation on the island on the day of the full moon party when 99% of the accommodation on the island was also fully booked/over priced. After getting a taxi an hour in the heat to even get to the accommodation. I refused and stood my ground and miraculously they came up with a room for me, so much for being fully booked. I was put into a room that was no where near as nice or expensive as the room I had booked. I am still waiting on a refund for the difference. after the first night out of two I was then told I had to move out of my not so nice room and was finally moved over to the room I originally booked, at that point I was over it and just wanted to stay where I was, but was told this was not possible and I had to move. So I packed up all my stuff and went to reception hoping to just have a quick turn around and get the new keys to my room I should have been in from the start. I was then told my new room isn’t ready, so I asked to go back to my old room as at the time a storm had come in and it was raining hard. I waited 2 hours to then get into my new room.
