The best hosts in Kata! Had an absolute lovely staying, Sam and his wife are warm, friendly, welcoming, helpful and professional. Room was tidy and neat and had a fridge. Water, watermelon and toast are provided 24/7. Perfectly located shorts walks from 3 beautiful but crowded beaches. I would definitely book this accommodation again if I return to kata. Thank you!

The location of the hotel was perfect walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and beaches. Sam the owner was lovely and helped us organise a transfer to the Phi Phi islands. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was spotless. They provide cold water every day and refills 24/7. It was a perfect stay.

A clean, cozy property close to the beach and food options. Sam was a great host and we enjoyed talking with him during our stay. He helped us quite a bit. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the open lobby area was a great place to sit.

The sweetest place we have stayed in Thailand! Sam and his staff are the most lovely, kind hearted people we've met and looked after us like family. Even looked after me when I was sick! The room had everything we needed and we stayed for 2 whole weeks and loved it the whole time! We even got lovely gifts from them for Christmas and New Years. Truly a home away from home, can't recommend enough!

No lift/elevator, but that’s just cause I cannot pack light. The staff were very helpful with our bags.

The main reception area was open plan and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and they had a working safe. The location was great for getting to Kata beach on foot.

An absolutely incredible place. The owner of the place, Sam, is a really great person. He helps with everything and is really friendly. Free food, coffee, tea and fruit are available in the lobby 24/7, as well as water that you can drink or take with you for free. I really strongly recommend and I myself plan to come again.

Room a bit small for 2 people but comfortable for 2 nights!

Breakfast is toast & fruit tea coffee available all the time. Bathroom tiny but had a window with a view to the park next door so really nice! Everything you need in the room including a drying rack!

Perfect location! Very close to the kata beach. Very clean room! They offered every day room service and free bottles of water. Coffee, tea and bread with butter was always available for the customers. The Wi-Fi connection was really good. The hospitality of Sam was excellent! I really recommend this hotel.

Sam is a great host. He helps you organise things like transport to the airport etc. The location is great. Quiet so you can have a good rest but also very close to the restaurants, markets and the beach! I felt very comfortable at this accommodation.

Pretty thin walls

The hotel is great located with only a few minutes walk from the beach. You get free towels for the beach and can change it everyday. Free coffee, water and bread 24/7. Sneak in and use the pool just across the street 😉 Super kind host. Recommend it!

Wish the sound proofing was a bit better - could often hear children crying from the room next door. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Had a comfortable stay at Kata Bai D - especially appreciated housekeeper Meow. I was on the third floor so enjoyed a nice view of the surroundings. Everything was comfortable and the location is good with plenty restaurants, massage places and a 7/11 nearby. The beach is about 3-4 minutes walk away.

Bai D is a no frills inn. It was clean. The beds are firm, but every mattress in Thailand is firm!!! The hosts were so so kind and generous. They offer toast and jam in the mornings. They allowed us to have a late checkout and even assisted with transport back to the airport. The walk to the beach is really about 5-7 minutes. So easy to get to/from.

The hotel was in a great location with only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Sam was also such an amazing host! Him and his wife gave us a lift to old town and he spent the morning, driving us around and showing us the sights. He also took us to an amazing noodle restaurant and treated us to dessert! Thank you for your hospitality Sam!
