Cleaning of room is only done on request, which is fine (hang the thing on the door) but if you don’t, garbage isn’t automatically taken out. Do not leave any rubbish on the balcony as the monkeys will rip it apart haha! Everything else was great!

It’s really nice and quiet, and very private. Great location and you can use 2 pools which is lovely. We spent nearly a month here (extended our stay after 2 weeks) and loved it! Especially the monkeys visiting in big groups every day!

I didn’t like the attitude of the manager. I was told that the money would be taken before my visit. However, when I got there, I was told that if I don’t have the cash, I will be charged 3.5% on my credit card. I was then told it could be 1.5%, despite my neighbours paying 0%. When I complained to the manager, I was told that I could leave right now and there were plenty of people who wanted the rooms. I felt he was totally unprofessional and the costs (promoted by Booking.com) are totally misleading.

The property was quiet and comfortable, despite being close to all of the best beaches and nightlife.

It was really dirty inside the cabins. Closet smelled like mold. One of the towels was torn apart and washed up. After cleaning the surfaces ourselves the towel was completely black. After we asked for the cleaning, they only took the dirty towels, folded them and put them on our bed. The insides of the fridge were also very dirty.

From the outside the resort is really beautiful. It was really close to the Long Beach and delicious food places. There is a 7eleven close to the accommodation too. Apart from the dirtiness described below, our stay here was great.

Nothing to be honest, I thought it was a good value for money.

The resort had a really homely feel when walking into it. There was also 2 pools which me and our friends throughly enjoyed using. The rooms where very nice for what you paid for, the bathroom also was nice (slightly outdated but it’s what you get for that price), had everything that was needed in there! The beds where very big and also quite comfortable and the rooms had a lot of space!! We also rented a moped from reception which made things easier for us. The location is good as well as is close to long beach along with some nice restaurants / breakfast places and has a 7/11 opposite. Me and 7 friends stayed here and we had a lovely time.

The room decorations were tired. Odd, because all the expensive items - chairs, shower, tiles, safe, kettle - were there in good condition and everything worked. A cheap lick of paint and new curtains would have improved the ambience so much.

Very pleasant staff, who cleaned the room each day. The bungalow is big, and we enjoyed the space. Good sized safe, shelf around the washbasin, plenty of cupboards, a table to work at, spacious outside sitting, lovely gardens, very nice pool. It was a very short walk to a good coffee shop, restaurants and the beach.

The road entrance was not paved properly full of rocks. Our bathroom sink was clogged wouldn’t drain and we asked 2 times to have it looked at, and the safe didn’t work. Could use some updates but over all a nice place to stay.

Great location We enjoyed our own cabins , it was clean and the bed had 2 doubles together mattress could have been a bit softer but was comfortable enough. Breakfast and laundry close by walking distance, 7-11 across the street. No blow dryer there.

Cons Steep hill; unless you really enjoy climbing hills, you’ll need a motorbike (but you pretty much need a motorbike anywhere you stay in Koh Lanta) The room is somewhat old/dated and in need of renovation; however, if renovated, it would cost a lot more than it does now, so this is not a real complaint Morning traffic noise of vehicles in low gear climbing the hill (only affects light sleepers and only for about an hour) The pool area is at the bottom of the hill and is somewhat sterile feeling; we never used it Mosquito party! The bungalows are right next to a forest and are swarming with big, black mosquitoes. This makes it unpleasant to sit on the nice porch, as even when I lit mosquito coils under me, I still got bit. Your mileage may vary; I’m a mosquito magnet, so they love me. My wife didn’t get bit once. Verdict: It’s a good value for the price we paid

This hotel consists of a strip of well-built bungalows lining a single road that goes straight up a hill with approximately a 10% gradient (pretty steep). It appears to be family-owned, and the owner himself is friendly and helpful. It’s across the road from the Phra Ae beach resorts; one can walk to them in about 10 minutes. There is very little traffic, as the road is only used by the hotel guests and the guests (residents?) of a condo complex at the top of the hill; however, when traffic comes (e.g., when employees of the condo at the top of the hill arrive to work), it’s loud, as the old motorbikes struggle to get up the hill. 1. Room clearly not cleaned prior to arrival. there were lizard egg shells and poop on one of the duvets and chair. The kettle was also filthy. 2. Facilities not the best; toilet leaked, so bathroom floor is wet. Sink also leaked. Shower water pressure low. 3. Our bungalow was very far up the hill. This isn’t a fault per se, but without one’s own transportation it was annoying to walk up and down the hill. 4. Accepted payment in cash only.

The manager of the hotel was really nice. I injured myself on a scooter in Koh Lanta & he really took care of me, cleaned the injury & offered to order food for me. I truly appreciated it. Also, I recommend this place, it's very peaceful & the beach near by is great.

Very nice and quiet resort. It's not located in front of sea but still very quiet and good location. I liked our big bungalow and most of all, the staff. Staff was very helpful and when i asked for something, they helped me. I will not forget that i forgot my shirts and they contacted me but i was already in Phuket. After 2 days i was leaving Thailand and thought that i will never get my shirts back. But staff somehow send me my shirts with farry then taxi to my hotel and i get my shirts next day. I'm very thankful for that! :D

The entrance is tricky on a motor bike. In our chalet one of the electrical sockets was in need of some maintenance.

In particular the manager and his staff. Excellent value for money, and a generous sized chalet. Prime location chalets which are well spaced out. The bed was clean and comfortable. Two clean and decent sized swimming pools.
