Unfortunate that you have to cross the road to get to the pool area by the beach, but they have people to stop the traffic for you! The water in the sea was not as clear and blue as we had hoped, and the first day it was a bit of trash on the beach. But they clean the beach every day! We swam in the pool instead of the sea because of the clody water. The food and drinks at Edgewater were a bit expensive. The barbeque on saturday was dry.

Very nice pool and pool fascilities! Clean hotel fascilities. Very helpful and polite staff! Easy to book tours through the hotel.

Beautiful swimming pool by the beach side. Sea kayak is available to guests for free. Great facilities suitable for couples and families from laser tag, ping pong, pool, theatre, kids club and babysitting/child services. Great and warm welcoming staffs.

I never realised that you had to cross a very busy road to gain access to the Hotel Restaurant, Bar and Beach. The split was a surprise.

Breakfast was amazing plenty of choice. Pool was lovely. Beach not so good.

The only bad thing is that it’s a little bit of a drive from the action of downtown but I didn’t care cause it was great !

The pool was 10/10 , the rooms were amazing . Clean fresh and exceeded our expectations ! The staff was great, the breakfast was so good ! And right beside all of the things you need , 7/11 ,massage etc!! ,I just happened to have been there on my birthday and they brought cake to my room without anyone telling them it was my birthday!!!! And no they didn’t pay me to say all of this !!

Would have loved that the balcony had a sitting area but when i asked for a chair, i promptly got one. The sight from my balcony wasn't exceptional but i didn't pay for it either. Wish i had booked a longer stay .

I don't usually stay in a 5 Star Hotels but the offer i got, i couldn't refuse. This was the first time that i felt very comfortable at a 5 Star Hotel and i stayed in many, especially travelling alone. The bed was dreamy comfortable and i coud have spent the whole day just laying in it. The Personal is very friendly and professional. Loved the walk over to the Pool to the beach and the security guards really were helpful for crossing the street. Of course in a 5 Star Hotel the food and drinks are going to be overpriced especially by Thai standards but i found them ok. You get what you pay for and the food was exceptionally good.

Many toddlers swimming in pool with no swimming nappies. Signage informs toddlers must wear swimming nappies. We noticed one kid peeing next to pool and 1 kid poop her self whilst in the pool.

Location was great, friendly staff, buffet breakfast was nice, food and drink at Edgewater was nice and very well priced.

Breakfast was great. They even made me a specific vegan Thai dish when I asked for it for breakfast! The rooms were clean and comfy. The pools are beautiful. There are 2 separate pool areas. One of them was quieter than the other and the main one was overlooking the ocean. Food at the hotel for lunch and dinner was quite nice but way more expensive than the restaurants in the town. Highly recommend this place.

The beach area is less of a private beach and more of an area by the sea. This is my only complaint though on an otherwise very nice hotel

Great hotel, good location on the end of the Lamai Beach. Lots to do, free activities. Very helpful and friendly staff. Everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay in one place. Really nice rooms.

You have to cross the street to get to the main pool and lunch and dinner parts of the resort. Had to walk through breakfast to get to entrance each day. Everything is expensive and you pay 17% charge on everything. Also need to put $1,000 THB deposit down on arrival per night of stay, which I had not read prior. Beach out front is next too boats so it’s not as pristine as some other parts.

Beautiful pools and clean surrounds. Love the people to help with the crossing of the street, and laser tag. Staff friendly and views pretty. Good pools!

The fact that the property took a $200 deposit and 45 days after checking out Im still trying to get the refund. This 30 day business policy you have is horrible and needs to be improved.

Anyone who values ​​first-class service, authenticity and good vibes has come to this place! Every single employee at Outrigger Samui always has a smile on their face and tries to make your vacation as nice as possible. We had 10 great and relaxing days as a family, with very good food and lots of relaxation. The rooms are beautiful designed and are huge. We will definitely come back. 5 stars deserved !

The beach leaves a lot to be desired and the water seems dirtier than further down Lamai. Food and drink service at the beach club was very hit and miss and menu items were often missing. Location wise, it’s a little far from central Lamai, but really not an issue.

The room was large, clean and very tastefully decorated. We had an adjoining family room with our kids having twin beds and this worked really well. The beach club was good and the pools were great. Crossing the road with the help of the crossing guards was never an issue. All essential services (7 Eleven, laundry, travel agent) within easy reach along with a couple of great local restaurants. Laser Tag on site was a bonus for our son’s birthday. Bernard, who runs the beach club was very helpful throughout our stay. We were there for new years and the gala dinner, though expensive, was excellent. Breakfast was very good.

Had a delayed check-in. We arrived 15 mins earlier & still staff didnt check us in till 2:30 & first they assigned us a different room then due to the continued delay gave us an already available room. Hotel manager did send some wine & apology letter for the delay. Area is also far from central Samui area (Chaeweng beach)

Loved the pool area. Its across the hotel so you have to cross the street to get to pool area & edgewater. Super cute room, minimalist/hampton vibes
