Room a little basic but brilliant for the price.

Really nice place to chill out, lovely views of the river, very quiet with lots of nice places to sit. Breakfast was great and staff are very helpful. Room is basic, not luxury but has everything you need- mini fridge, aircon, heated shower, western toilet and comfy bed. Pool was great. Lovely walk into town if you go right at the fork and walk along the river. You'd be fine doing all your eating and drinking at the guesthouse but lots of nice places to eat and get a drink just up the road.

Lots of Japaneese tourists being loud show a little respect

Location was beautiful on the river and next to a busy street with restaurants and bars breakfast and meals were lovely. We walked to the bridge river kai about 20 minutes then did the train trip along the death railway the ne t day then visited the railway museam and the cementry next door .

Nothing I didn’t like, really. Only issue was that the room uses a key to open the door, not a swipe card. The card for the power is attached to the key. Twice, I forgot to take the key with me and locked myself out but staff let me in, no problem. It might also be nice if there were instructions in English (maybe other languages) on how to use the TV and change setting for English subtitles etc. as the TV menu was all in Thai. Only minor issues… and I will just have to learn my Thai.

The location was fantastic. I booked a Studio River View room. It was spacious and clean. The pool was nice, although I only used it once as I’m not a real pool person. Included breakfast and other meals were very nice, with lots of choices… but I only eat Thai food when in Thailand! 😂 The staff were very friendly and helpful. The availability of scooter hire at the guest house was great, although it is only a very short walk out to the street for plenty of choices of shops, restaurants and bars. I was very impressed with the accommodation and can’t believe it is only 2 stars. I would definitely stay here again!

Some of the staff were really nice and helpful, some were not that friendly. The materess was quite hard, but I guess that is the case in most parts of Thailand. AC in our room was not working properly during the last night, but we had no chance to say it to the staff. Deposit for a key to the safe was suprising.

The Guesthouse was lovely. It was situated close to the train station, just on the riverside and you could see the sunset over the river. We also had a room with the riverview that was amazing in the morning and evening. The swimming pool was amazing, it was very nice to stary there and chill on some hot days. The rooms were quite big and clean. Restaurant was quite ok, food tasty. It had a lot of European/American dishes as well as Thai ones and quite an impressive selection of vegetarian (with some vegan) dishes. Breakfest had limited choise though.

We stayed in a studio room with balcony overlooking the river, great view. Comfortable bed. Cleaners did a great job. Breakfast was lovely, served either in the breakfast restaurant or on outside tables & chairs. Great pool to cool off. Central location to restaurants & bars, 5 min. tuk-tuk ride to the Bridge.

Beautiful little spot. Bungalow was cosy. The surroundings were amazing with all sorts of flowers, plants, statues, ornaments etc. the staff were really happy and friendly. Absolutely loved it here. Central to what we wanted to visit. On the rivers edge as well.

As a senior citizen, the 14 steps up to my room after a tiring day's golf or evening out.

Great ambience. Pity because of golf trip, had no time to use the pool. Good breakfast and very central for local amenities.

perfect for me as a solo traveller..very helpful staff ,breakfast good, location to local bars and restaurants perfect within a few minutes walk..with no street noise to keep you awake, fantastic view over the river!,,not to far from train station, walkable. taxi advisable if you have lot of luggage...train to nam tok very cheap.. and onward to Erawan Falls (dont miss it!!)

I don't like the lighting in the room it's dark with all those warm lights. Walking up the stairs was also a problem with me because I had a knee injury.

Thanking the staffs taking our heavy luggage up upon check-in and bringing it down after check-out. And also there's no slippers in the room.
