How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Area surrounding pool didn’t seem to be cleaned each day

I only stayed for one night. The room was clean and well equipped. The bathroom was spacious enough to not get the whole bathroom floor wet when showering. The host is a ball of sunshine and so so helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Thin walls, and a bit futher off from everything than described but still not far.
Nice, clean rooms with good ac. Just a few minutes to the beach. Quiet and calm, with maybe a 10 minute walk to the centre

Only complain is that the bathroom could’ve done with a little modernising and a deep clean but was still good.
First of all I can’t thank the host / receptionist enough, she was so so lovely and kind and energetic , sorted everything out that we needed whether it was taxis , tours , full moon party , our shower head snapped off one day and within 20 minutes we had a brand new one set up , she is absolutely amazing. Beds were comfy, pool was perfect, location about 5 min walk to 7 eleven so was pretty spot on & the beach is across the road. All around great stay , didn’t want to leave.

It's a little dated, and the place needs painting Hard bed and pillows were not comfy for us
The location is great, just over the road there's a lovely beach and a little away from the main area, still walkable. The pool is clean and big Little balcony Nice lady checked us in

Spacious and clean room, hotel is close enough to everything in the centre of Lamai without it being noisy which is great. A few steps away from the beach. Great pool. Thank you to the lovely woman on reception.

We couldn’t get Netflix to work on the tv! But Amazon prime worked so it was ok!

No complaints.
Perfect location, everything walking distance, but no noise at night. Big room, comfortable bed, great AC, pool etc. Staff were helpful and would go out of their way to assist.

The room seemed to be old and the window was near the main way to enter the swimming pool.
The hotel has a good quality-price ratio. It is close to the beach but it has also a swimming pool. The room was clean.

The hotel is getting a bit older and could use some TLC, but it's still really comfortable to stay in and a great value for the money. Also, Everywhere you stay in Thailand has bugs that come up through the drains at night. The last place I stayed I put toilet paper over the drain at night and wet it to keep ants out! This place had a hole from the shower to the outside to drain and the (harmless) milipedes loved to come in if you didnt plug this with a bit of toilet paper. This is just part of being in a tropical country!
The location is excellent! It's super close to lots of restaurants and shops and the beach. The staff is friendly and the pool was great for my kids. It's sort of at the older end of the street of restaurants and clubs, which I thought was a bonus because it wasn't loud at night at all.

Great little hotel. Very friendly & helpful people, quieter location but right across from a gorgeous beach. Some bars & restaurants close by, lamai centre is a short stroll away. Rooms a little older but well equipped & comfortable. Nice pool.
